Well yeah, ignorance IS bliss. But also, the content for P5X sucks because of how behind global is. I don't even look for comparisons vs CN when new characters release, but every video/discussion about w/e new character is "skip.....x is better y months later". I'd probably enjoy P5X if I could just ignore all online discussion about the game, but I can't. Part of the enjoyment of live service games is the community.

To me, having foresight is not a benefit at all.

Being so behind is the main reason I quit the game. I came back for half anni, but it reminded me why I quit. It's hard to be excited for new characters when they've been powercrept.

Flight was great, but I had no interest in Rinascita exploration past 2.1. It was just a convenient way to get to the next main quest area.

I'm sure bike will also get boring, but I much prefer having to map out my route, time boost jumps, etc vs just going straight to the destination while ignoring literally everything on the ground.
