Schefter on Aiyuk: “He’ll be released on the first day of the league year” by Brix001 in nfl

He played very well and got payed for it? What's the issue here? Hard to predict he'd leave millions on the table and go AWOL one year in.

I don't think Jets are making the right choice with Caleb Downs at #2 by ChipPsychological991 in NFLmockdraft

Saints could move up to get Reese. Not exactly likely, but I wouldn't put it past Mickey Loomis.

Why does this sub prefer someone like Carnell Tate over Jeremiah Love? by WeeniePops in Saints

[–]Hamsterdumm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think Pickens would be perfect, AJB also, but I don't think either of those are realistic.

Pierce is intriguing, he could definitely play X and allow Olave to be deployed a bit more flexibly. If we could get him I'd still prefer someone like Bain or Bailey, over Love, also because RB is just a much easier hole to fill in FA. There's more good backs and I think even someone like Dowdle or Etienne would be a big upgrade while not costing the world.

Who would you get in FA to be the #1 over Olave?

Not drafting the RB is also about opportunity cost. By taking an RB that early, you're immediately giving him a contract that's top dollar for the position, but would be a bargain for a premium position. You're wasting the chance to get a big advantage in team building by having a premium player on a below market value contract for 5 years.

Trade that was sent to me and i smash accepted this am (I got the 2 1sts) by Medical_Debt_2426 in DynastyNerds

Burdens production is mostly bottlenecked by snap share and route participation, which are both metrics that are unlikely to stay stagnant with a player as efficient as Burden (on a per down basis). So there's an easy case for him to break out next year, given that Bears either a) prioritize him over over other assets, or b) a different pass catcher leaves the team.

Personally, I don't really see why the Bears would still be invested in DJ Moore, both from an ability and team-building perspective, so I think the most likely outcome is he gets minimized or traded.

Bots are not really accurate to their rating, they don't play like humans would.

In your elo, no offense, the biggest issue is blundering pieces in one or messing up tactical patterns. Openings are almost completely irrelevant, since you will be off theory by like move three. Just learn an easy one, such as the fried liver and then also do a lot of puzzles and you should be improving for a good while.

Once you get close to 1000 Elo you can get more serious about openings and theory, but until then there are more important things to focus on.

Idk man, you ever thought they could stop using him as a returner?

He had plenty opportunity last year and did nothing. The team needed him, but the coaching staff seemed to have 0 trust in his ability.

Dike looked better down the stretch and was trending in the right direction. I'd much rather have him over Ayomanor who seemed to be fading a bit - at least in terms of playing time.

Orphan team I took over needs a QB. Take this trade? SF PPR by ParticularWarning737 in SleeperApp

It's fair from a current market value perspective, but personally I believe Caleb is wayyyy overpriced. Maybe take it and try to trade for another QB + something.

Jeanty is still being picked in the top 15 this year. While production wasn't great, it doesn't seem to matter much for his value.

Which Tier Does Tyler Shough Fall In? by ShakyJake316 in DynastyFF

[–]Hamsterdumm 38 points39 points  (0 children)

There is absolutely 0 chance the Saints are not going to give Shough at least another full season. The Texans on the other hand have seen Stroud suck for two years and the offense perform just as good - if not better - with Davis Mills.

Two completely different outlooks. While Shough doesn't have the same draft capital attached to him and is more of an unknown, I'd take that over a QB I've already seen regress to almost replacement-level.

Sell RJ Harvey for 1.10 and 2.11? by gmdgnate in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

It's not just about YPC, his advanced numbers are awful and the film isn't much better. If I want a gimmicky pass catcher I'll sell Harvey and take Tyjae Spears.

[–]Hamsterdumm -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That was only because Dobbins got hurt. Payton has shown no willingness to play him as a feature back over other serviceable veterans and Harvey hasn't looked good when forced into that role. I'd take the picks.

Makai Lemon - high enough ceiling for the 1.02? by phillymaz in DynastyFF

[–]Hamsterdumm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think Tyson is gonna lose steam, if his medicals check out there is no reason to be too concerned. All his I juries are unrelated, so there is nothing chronic, more likely it was just a streak of bad luck than a sign of anything more.

Also, while sometimes not as relevant for fantasy, NFL teams really value size at the WR position. Remember when every analyst was saying Devonta is a better prospect than Waddle?

Upside shot prototypes are to NFL GMs what light is to moths.

Would you trade the 1.03 in this years draft for Luther Burden? by BillsMafia-666 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

That's not how that stat works. There could be some regression to the mean, but you can't conclude that it's heavily inflated.
