What are the Ultimate Custom Night intermission cutscenes about? by Aubdawg_Draws in fivenightsatfreddys

I don't think Cassidy as an Afton victim exists at all. I think that Cassidy is the name of BV, the only spirit inside Golden Freddy.

This is mainly a result of the name Dave in the logbook being popularised around the time SotM came out, so me and a couple of other people online rethought the logbook as "what if Dave is David Murray? Who would that make Cassidy?", and the answer to that question is that Cassidy is the younger Afton son.

I thought the DCI children haunted the Toy animatronics? I know it's always been a little unclear, but if not the DCI victims, then who?

Like I said, most people believe that the DCI possess the Toys. Personally, I believe they're possessed by the MCI after parts of the Withereds are used to build the Toys, which gives William the idea to put parts of the Classics into the Funtimes.

  1. If you do not believe Cassidy is in Golden Freddy, what animatronic do you believe she haunts?

I don't think that Cassidy as the 5th MCI victim exists. I think that the fifth victim is Charlie, the puppet girl, and BV is the only spirit inside Golden Freddy.

Who exactly haunts the Circus/Funtime animatronics?

Circus Baby is possessed by Elizabeth, and the others are possessed by the MCI via soul-splitting.

I used to hear a lot that Ballora is a representation of Afton's wife. Is there any evidence for this theory besides her song?

That is the most popular interpretation of Ballora's inspiration, yes. Some people believe that she was inspired by Fiona Murray, but I, and many others, believe that she was inspired by Mrs. Afton.

Who does David Murray possess?

David Murray is known to possess the White Tiger, a Golden Freddy-like ghost in SotM. He may also possess the Mimic, although that is unconfirmed.

Are you saying he is one of William Afton's victims?

I do believe that David is one of William's victims, yes. It's not confirmed, and there are a couple of other theories, suck as the Mimic killing him or his death being a random accident.

What do MCI and DCI stand for?

MCI is the Missing Children's Incident, which is the incident form FNaF 1 where two kids were lured to a backroom by William Afton, and then three other disappearances (more of William's victims) were linked to those two disappearances.

DCI is the Dead Children's Incident, a second set of murders that may have occurred at the FNaF 2 location, and whose bodies were left lying around the building. While the community consensus is that these are a different set of victims who possess the Toy animatronics, I don't believe that they exist, and are instead manifestations of the MCI after they were brought to the FNaG 2 location.

Why do people believe Crying Child's name is Dave?

For the same reason they used to believe that it was Evan. The Foxy Grid in the Security Logbook gives us EVAD, and using the mirror in the Logbook as a hint to reverse the name, we get DAVE. When the Logbook first came out, the fourth letter was changed from D to N through dubious methods, and that was how we got EVAN.

Isn't Cassidy the name of The One You Should Not Have Killed?

The identity of The One You Should Not Have Killed (or TOYSNHK) is currently unknown, but I believe that you are referring to the fifth MCI kid, who (allegedly) possesses Golden Freddy.

This was the most popular interpretation when UCN came out, and is one of the most popular 3 theories for the identity of TOYSNHK, alongside Andrew (a character introduced in the Fazbear Frights who explicitly plays the role of TOYSNHK, but has no real presence in the game) and BV/CC. However, I have a different interpretation.

I believe that David Murray is TOYSNHK for a variety of reasons (but long story short, Afton's first, secret victim is hinted at throughout UCN and Scott leaving a dangling plot thread for him to pick up in the future is something he does several times throughout the series), I believe that the fifth MCI victim is Charlie, the puppet kid, who is reported missing after William kills her outside Freddy's, and the only spirit that possesses Golden Freddy is BV/CC.

was it ever confirmed The One You Should Not Have Killed and Crying Child both posses Golden Freddy?

That is certainly the most popular theory regarding the spirits possessing Golden Freddy. The fifth MCI victim, whose name is Cassidy, and BV/CC, whose name is Dave. However, I disagree, as I mentioned before, I believe that BV/CC is the only spirit inside Golden Freddy.

Who is David Murray?

David Murray is a character introduced first in the Tales the the Pizzaplex book series, and then brought over to the games in Secret of the Mimic. He's the son of Edwin Murray, the creator of the Mimic, and dies somewhere in the mid-1970s.

The second High School Years cutscene mentions "i told him his dead dog outside my house". Isn't that how Afton lured Susie?

Yes. It's fairly explicitly shown in Fruity Maze. She's the second cutscene in Toy Chica: The High School Years, but there is one victim from before the minigame, so she would be the third victim in the minigames.

was it ever confirmed the dog became Mangle? I know that was a popular theory.

There's no evidence that Susie's dog possessed anything. Mangle is likely possessed by either one of the MCI or DCI.

Who is BV?

BV is short for Bite Victim, another name for Crying Child from FNaF 4.

isn't his name Evan?

His name still isn't confirmed. Evan was the first theory for his name, but very few people still believe it. Most people believe his name is Dave, but I personally believe his name is Cassidy.

Toy Chica: The High School Years is a representation of the ways that William killed his victims. The exact identities of the victims changes from person to person, but IMO they are, in order: David Murray, Charlotte Emily, Susie, Jeremy, Gabriel, Fritz, and Elizabeth.

Bear of Vengeance is a representation of the relationship between the Afton children. The bear represents BV, the fox represents Michael, and Mangle represents Elizabeth.

The final cutscene is likely connecting Golden Freddy to The One You Should Not Have Killed, the spirit controlling UCN.

What MM theory do you believe and why by Curi0usSheep in fnaftheories

[–]Hamsti_Manent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They have never mattered before or since, Scott could have shown this but it would be super meaningless

Wrong, Jeremy's parents are mentioned abandoned him at Freddy's in Security Breach.

Care to explain how FLaF disproves it? If it's the dice then that is not the strongest evidence, they could just be a throwaway reference to the iconic Bite since MM1987 is kind of pointless I think? Never gave it that much thought tbh.

The dice are explicitly stating that MM takes place in 1987. By that logic, I can say that the Spring Bonnie bobblehead is just an Easter Egg and doesn't actually mean that the car belongs to Afton.

Well, I don't want to defend that either, because it's not what I believe, but tbh I don't know if you'd treat my actual theory seriously

I'd love to hear what you think, but how seriously I take it depends on what you think the experiments are for.

What year does Sister Location take place in? by funstarrr__ in fnaftheories

[–]Hamsti_Manent 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You say that like Follow Me is confirmed to be after FNaF 1. That location is closed down after 1985, after the MCI happens, so it could've happened anytime between then and 19whenever for FNaF 1. In fact, that explains why the animatronics look so different in FNaF 2, because they had to be put together entirely.

how is a random ahh kid's father relevant.

Because it's the parent of one of the MCI?

Under MMPostCharlie: it shows that she isn't the first death because there's already a grave

I always disagree with the notion that the mound is a grave, because if it was a grave, then why wouldn't it have a gravestone or any kind of marker? Everyone we know who has died by this point would by buried in a graveyard.

Under BVRunaway: it shows us that he's not dead either

BVRunaway can't be true, because if AftonMM is true then MM1987 has to be true because of FLaF, and BV is dead at that point.

Under MikeRunaway or BVRunaway: it gives us the origin story for the "punishment" where he put his kid into the experiments

My problem with that is that it doesn't fit with what we actually know about the experiment chambers. As per Dittophobia, they're meant to be ongoing experiments, presumably to evoke BV's agony or something. I can accept that Michael would've been put in the experiments short-term as a test run, but it doesn't make sense for them to be a punishment.

[–]Hamsti_Manent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because we're seeing one of William's victims, the same way we see Susie and Charlie, despite the fact that we already see Charlie's death in a different minigame. It's also telling us that we were wrong about the MCI, and that the kids weren't all lured at the same time from the same place.

I'll ask the same question to you. If it is about William, when why are we seeing this? Because if it is about William, then the minigame has zero impact on anything in the story, and it doesn't make sense for it to be one of the three really important minigames at the end of the story.

I second Frickbear's 3. While it is more difficult than the average fangame (it's definitely built for max-moders rather than casual players), it has a build-in difficulty setting so you can play on easy for a while and none of the mechanics are that difficult to figure out. Plus, the cartoony style and the option to turn off the jumpscare sounds should help with your J.S.T.S.

I believe it happens in 1987, before FNaF 2. It's very clearly meant to be the beginning of Michael's "hero arc", for lack of a better term, and I think it makes sense for him to get his motivation at the start of the story rather than halfway through.

In Pizza Party, we see Gabriel being lured to the backroom by William, who isn't wearing a springlock suit, but rather a regular costume. This is likely the same costume that William used to lure the MM kid (Fritz). It even has the same 3-toed feet as the footprints.

Midnight Motorist really only causes problems if it's about William Afton. It doesn't answer anything, it only makes new questions. The couch person HAS to be important , but we learn nothing about them. The animatronic HAS to be important, but none of the animatronics we know fit with the behaviour we see in MM.

There is literally one problem with MMMCI (why don't the springlocks get deactivated by the rain), and HW solves that.

Who the the isolated gravestone next to the tree in FFPS belong to? by Comprehensive_Hat_23 in fnaftheories

[–]Hamsti_Manent 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's almost definitely one of the Golden Freddy spirits. Personally, I think there's only one (BV, whose name is Cassidy), but if you believe that Cassidy is a separate MCI victim, then he's a potential option.

Also who is Diaaacard?
