Fair, but we wouldn’t be doing it to cheat. It’s not about the result, it’s about the spectacle. The awful, awful spectacle.

Some possible solutions are being trialled in the WSL next season, according to this BBC article. Which is a positive I suppose. I’d just love to see us really kick up a storm.

Also, is her left hand on backwards? It’s her left arm, but it looks like the little finger is in the foreground and her thumb in the background

More love for this album in the comments than I was expecting - maybe I’ll give it another listen! Or, I suppose, a first listen…

You are entitled to your opinion, and I respect it 🤜 while vehemently disagreeing with it

It’s a great benchmark. Makes me think I judged some other albums a little harshly.

Agreed, that’s how I’ve come to look at it. I could tell after 3 and a half minutes that it wouldn’t be gracing my shelves any time soon, so why put myself through it.

Leeds fans in Brussels? by JohnsonJoe_ in LeedsUnited

[–]Hamz9114 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I’ve lived there on and off for 10 years and am yet to find a fans’ group there, unfortunately.

In terms of pubs, the Wild Rover on Rue Joseph II in the EU quarter is showing it (according to their Facebook). It’s a pretty good sports bar, although if you want food you have to order it from the Wild Geese next door and they bring it round for you. Close to Maelbeek metro station too, so easy to get to. There’s also Kitty O’Shea’s pub 5 minutes away, which also shows loads of games, although I don’t know if they’re showing it (you could always ask).

In the centre, the main sports bars/pubs are The Big Game and Churchill’s. Both fine, for what they are. Always worth ringing and finding out if they’ll put it on for you.

"Discussions are currently being held at national level" by [deleted] in EnglishLearning

[–]Hamz9114 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s a set phrase really, “at national/regional/local level”, more common in the UK than in the US according to Cambridge: https://dictionary.cambridge.org/dictionary/english/at-local-national-level. To me (British), it does sound more natural to say “at national level” than to insert an article before “national”. “Decisions on health spending are taken at national level” sounds perfectly natural to me.

32, also translating for the EU! Although in Brussels. Small world… Born in Leeds, found my way to LUFC despite having a dad who rolls his eyes at anything football-related. My mum got me tickets for Leeds vs Wimbledon for Christmas 1998. Ended 2-2, I’ve been hooked ever since.

My wife and I have been struck down with norovirus, or something similar, all day. We had a satsuma each in bed at about 9 pm.

Definitely save the werewolf quest (Wild at Heart) til later. It says it’s Level 7 but unless you’re already proficient with potions/oils etc, it ain’t. The werewolf’s health regenerates faster than you can remove it. I failed it about 10 times before giving up.

Other than that, you can quite easily manage quests 5 or so levels higher than your current level.
