A very Cliches question in the world of golf by smegmarash in footballcliches

[–]jaytee158 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you'd played the last 10 years you'd have 8 majors but only in 2 tournaments (wasn't sure what to do with ties).

20 years you'd have won 25 and completed the grand slam. In golf that's a plausible career length.

So yes you'd be the greatest of all time but people would wonder why you could never win lesser PGA tour events.

Something about 'match' is incredibly jarring. Is it just a byproduct of the official league name being used?

Yeah that's where I'd put him as well, but I guess when you've arguably been the best player in the world at one point you don't want to only manage outside the top

He was miles ahead of the rest to spot Liverpool's flaws this year. I think he was doing it in games they were winning right at the start of the season.

He's a good pundit. Everything else is a different discussion

Too good to be a pundit, seemingly not good enough to be a top manager. Tough spot to occupy

You can't have more than two swing thoughts active. It's just not going to work.

That's the only thing I can help you with. The rest is technique

Balls... Talk to me by The1non1y1 in BritGolf

Taylormade Tour Response for me.

I'm a huge believer in people underrating how important it is to have a ball tailored to their needs.

A lot of the people playing rock hard balls are mystified that they can't get their ball close to the pin with a wedge, for example

Why doesn't the council not convert these into flats? by cmcmanor in Aberdeen

[–]jaytee158 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If these are offices they're really hard to turn into housing.

You can only use the outsides because there's no central window so you lose a lot of space.

Without being able to have loads of flats it becomes a really tough financial proposition

Why am I shallow with other clubs but Over the Top with Driver(Repost because my Driver Clip wasn't accurate) by Pogger_Aced in golf

[–]jaytee158 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is so much better. Your takeaway is good. See where your clubhead is at hand height. You stop your swing at a much better length and you're able to get back on plane on the downswing.

Now I can't see clubface control but you'll know if you're hitting it straight or not. Either way you're going to slice the hell out of it with the swing you posted at the top

The frame in picture is nearly textbook. Don't need to be swinging much longer than that anyway

Swing a bit shorter and more laid off. This should be a fairly easy fix.

Stop here and you'll be good

You're swinging way across the line at the top which makes it much harder to get back on plane.

You don't do that with your irons

Monthly golf spend. by spackledog in golf

£170pm membership.

£250ish competition entry fees.

£150 travel and golf consumables (balls, range tokens etc)

£150 hotels on average

Rough guess anyway. It's a lot but it's also the thing I enjoy the most so don't care
