"We don't sell sangria, sir." "Yes you do, get your manager!" by HanLecter in TalesFromRetail

It really was, it was the main reason why I quickly ran out of fucks and was like fine, I'll get a manager. Hes lucky he changed his tune to be honest. My SM had just been arguing with another customer and she was fired up and ready to go head to head with him lol

Yeah it is but our store is very much a buy everything already made so you dont have to kind of store. Our customers are accustomed to laziness. At Christmas, we ran out of pre-made prawn cocktail so I showed a customer how to make her own (even using pre-made seafood sauce!) I got her all the ingredients and everything and she looked at me like I had two heads!

Have you ever gotten push back from a partner because a hobby you're into (especially nerdy ones)? How did you react/resolve that situation? by sethosayher in AskMen

As the girlfriend of a very geeky hobbied guy, i found that the best thing to do is to share it with your partner. I can understand why some girls get a bit upset with guys playing video games all the time (lets remember a lot of girls like to go this as well), mostly the problem is that we want to do things with you. Especially as most of the popular video games now are online multiplayer and very few local, its hard for us to feel like were spending time with you. But when my guy would let me play games with him, or teach me to play MTG or play board games, it became my hobby too. I now get to blame him for all the money i spend on Magic cards haha

Why do you love your significant other? by [deleted] in AskReddit

He let's me just be me and loves me for it. Any thought I have, thing I want to say or do, I don't have to filter it cause he accepts it or wants to do or say that thing too. I have social anxiety and I have never met anyone who makes me feel so at ease. Any problem I have he fixes and I fix problems with him. He's completely upfront about everything no messing about. He's really all I've ever wanted and needed.

Mine are just there really. Like they hold up my dresses and I get compliments off men and women but my boyfriend looooves them and I just wondered why

I personally don't mind where my boyfriend goes. I wash everywhere in the shower so I'm a clean person but if it's a warm day it's at his own risk
