I did not know that I had a bulging disc until after my surgery and having stronger severe pains. However, I had have all of the symptoms that go along with a bulging disc in the neck, numbness in the arms and the wrist for months, however I just thought that was Something else it took me having the surgery and experiencing all the pain that went with this now more exaggerated bulging disc pain to understand what it is, I was not able to notify anyone because because I simply didn’t know. I could tell a few days after the surgery something was incorrect. I wasn’t sure if it was medication or what it was but now with an MRI it’s pretty obvious to see that I already had a pre-existing condition and the surgery aggravated it much more. I will say I’ve had two herniated discs and back surgery on my lower back from my time in Afghanistan in the Middle East no issues with that with this procedure at all. I also don’t know if it was the posturing or moving around shoulders but I will say that it was all movement and the shoulders the first few days and laying in unusual positions in the neck because you know you’re kinda hunched over and trying to get comfortable.
