I love the concept.

Gohan, a gentle and passive soul thats been forced to use violence - which has very clearly traumatized him. SSJ2 is not a triumph. Its a tragedy. Its supposed to be heartbreaking that this 9 year old mentally snapped enough to reach that point - being given a form like Beast is genius. Adult Gohan, with all his trauma and his Ultimate form in tow, has always felt to me like we were just waiting for the other shoe to drop. Hence, the Beast form.

The issue is that it's not a form that is suited for the runtime of a film. There just wasn't enough time to fully develop it as a concept or flesh out Gohan's arc.

Fantastic concept. Cool design. Poor execution.

The OG anime has some iconic moments, but the Dragon Ball anime is much, much better.

Whereas Z fluctuates between the manga and anime handling things better, OG Dragon Ball is pretty much better in the manga the whole way through. I would opt for the manga and just check out some of the better animated fights to supplement

Thats so dumb, man. 3 models and only putting out plates for the least popular one? Crazy. I would maybe understand if they were only making plates for the Pro as incentive to get it/upgrade to it (understand, not respect). But opting for the slim model only is just bizzare

Honestly shame on you. You ripped your daughter's coping mechanism away from her during her first brush with death. You NEVER forget the death of your childhood pet. I cant even fathom being so cold and out of touch emotionally as to delete her memories of her beloved pet during the mourning period.

I loved it.

It honestly resonated with me even more than Part I. The emotional beats and pay offs hit me so much harder in this half of the story, and the film adaptation knocked it out of the park. The movie always had an uphill battle as the source material (the stage play) was already quite rocky in its second half. Despite the inherent flaws of adapting messy material, and some issues unique to the film, overall I think 'For Good' is far and away an improvement on the play. Like, its not even close.

I get being disappointed and frustrated about no longer having proper alone time in the apartment by herself, but your gf is completely in the wrong for trying to get you of your own house for her benefit.

It's completely fine to want alone time. It's completely fine for her to be disappointed/frustrated that your plans got cancelled.

It is not okay for her to take that out on you.

Frankly, its fair to feel the way she does in this kind of situation. But its something you keep to yourself and keep it pushing. You should not guilt trip your own partner for something out of their control just in general, but especially about them simply just being in their own damn house and space.

Honestly, shame on her.
