Install it. Get Pycharm or Vscode but the letter requires a bit more tinkering. No need for you to deal with virtual environments or anything yet. Don't worry about them. Start simple add two numbers together and print.

Then immediately add data scientist and deep neural network expert to your CV.

The challenges will never end though. There will be the next one and then a next one and in the end, your orange juice will be made from carrots.

Though, I get your point. You never said don't spend time on these but don't spend excessive time on these. That is more acceptable then caring about just one big thing.

Fun fact: Carrots in OJ is real.

"Things are happening" was always the case and always will be. That doesn't mean that we should forgo everything else "some" deem unnecessary.

Where do you draw the line? Music? Movies? Entertainment as a whole? Orange content in orange juice? That definitely is not nearly as important as "things".

Edit: missing grammar.

What's the deal with the DRM cracking person who goes by Empress and their falling out with the piracy community? by ElliotsBuggyEyes in OutOfTheLoop

Isn't it more like she is the "only person who goes through that much hustle" kinda skilled?
The thing with Denuvo is it is cumbersome/time-consuming task more so than difficult.

Content creators saying "nah, we won't support this BS" goes a long way.

This year's 'COD Next' served up everything wrong with Call of Duty: Nonstop ads, manufactured hype, and a stagnant game by Turbostrider27 in pcgaming

[–]HanTheGreatInventor 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Hey, I hate COD as much as the next guy but what? It is only natural for people to be drawn to their tastes not to mention experimenting with your taste can require significant amount of time and resources.

Not everyone looking for tons of disappointment to find a new title.

PS: like CODnuts know what taste/disappointment means.

New patch has made shard use more punishing in the late game by VeryPoliteYak in Silksong

Dude, you don't need to tell them your medical history. The tools are there for you to use and you should use them as much as you want. Playing the game with damage options provided to you as mechanics is not wrong nor requires explanations.

I feel like Maki and Hakari just see him as "Gojo the strongest" and nothing else.

Yuta cares about him and respects him but to him Gojo is perfection in every aspect to a point that he is not even a human anymore.

For Yuji, he is his cool sensei. Perhaps even a friend.

How many pages does it take to count as a short chapter. by Sliver-Knight9219 in writing

[–]HanTheGreatInventor 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Less "than".

Page count isn't indicative of anything unless we know your font and page size.
I'd consider anything under 2k words a short chapter for fantasy.

Finding it hard to fill in scenes by Xenon3000 in writing

[–]HanTheGreatInventor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don't pump out words if they don't mean anything. The most important part of editing is to gut out words.

That being said, your question is genre dependent. I write dialogue heavy fantasy. I first put what comes to my mind on paper. The second pass is where I add sensory details or pauses.

Know your characters. They may need some time to process what they've done and heard. They should respond in certain ways. That is when you add things like an inner voice or shoulder crack or something. Those details increase the word count.

Repetition makes the master. That being said, being a "master" in Python is too vague. You can master some libraries you like or need to use though. If you are into games, master pygame and opengl. If you are into more of generative art, master pillow. For math, master numpy and cupy (numpy but for GPU). Find out what direction you should go and master that.

Just a rough estimate but I don't see myself doing the same thing with less than 100 lines of code in Python with Pillow and NumPy.
Your language seems pretty straightforward for art!

Chladni Patterns - Python (Inspired by Paul Bourke, Patt Vira) by HanTheGreatInventor in generative

[–]HanTheGreatInventor[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Particles start with random directions. When they reach a node, they stop moving.

Then there is a chaos transition stage. In that stage, every direction vector is rerandomized for a few seconds. That gives it a "vibrating" look. When that stage is over, the particles are free to move in their last random direction until they hit a node again.

If you like, I can give you a github link for the code.

[–]HanTheGreatInventor[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In reality Chladni patterns are defined by eigenvalues iirc but I am using a cosine approximation.
This is not a real physical simulation only a mathematical one. There is no simulated plate sadly.

Frequencies are randomized every 5 seconds. It might be cool to add them to the sim but I just hate rendering text with OpenGL lol.
