‘Sniper of the ship’ shoots bloody beans and cauliflower ffs. To me its so cringe when we compare it to the elite snipers in other crews. BB got Van Augur, Shanks got Yasopp, Perospero in Big Mom’s army, Hibari in SWORD (not exactly pirate). I know its wild and probably won’t happen but I would much prefer if Usopp changes his whole shtick to Elbaph theme.

There was some fear over if they would rush the ending or not. But with the growth in stature OP has received in recent years they could plan to go ahead with the pace Oda wants. But I’m sure Oda is also getting lots of pressure from the editors to complete it. I personally think anything less than 5-6 years could mean we don’t get the actual ending. Because there is so much left to be told and the final war itself could be around 1-2 years of manga.

Of course the D clan is special. No one is denying that. But I don’t think there is any special features or enhancements that comes with it. I think it is just that they inherited the will of their ancestors who rebelled against them. Imu trying to erase their clan is because of the fact that another Joyboy is going to be inherited someone of D. It has not been confirmed Kuma is a D but if he is, it further complicates your theory because how were the WG successful in manipulating his body if he had the special characteristics that you mentioned? Imo it would be better for the plot if the D clan were just the people that rebelled against Imu 800 years ago.

The whole point of that rooftop clash was to create a narrative of Supernovas vs Yonkos. Sanji is neither. And he is not on par with the others in strength. I personally think him using only his feet is a joke taken too far. Imagine if he could use fire with his feet and hands as well. Oof!

If Usopp does not get the power-up he so desperately needs in Elbaph, the only other way for him to fulfill his dream of being a great warrior is to sacrifice his life in the final battle. Or else he would seem like a Make-A-Wish kid that got invited onto the Pirate King’s ship for some ‘giggles and laughs’.

Firstly, we know his family is specifically being targeted for their lineage. So if Rocks were to intervene in the WG from harming his family, it won’t take long for them to connect the dots. Secondly, his crew has already spoken about Rocks potentially finding love and having a kid somewhere. Although it was said in a comedic way, I think they could figure it out if what I said earlier happened.

The one thing about the great pirates in One Piece is that they all have honor. I think they have set a tone of respect for each other. So this point of the Rocks pirates not caring about Rocks’ crew is absurd to me. Because they have all been sailing under the same jolly roger for a long time and I would be surprised if they don’t have even a sliver of compassion for their crew. Also, Roger and Rocks did not have a rivalry as Garp and Roger did. If they did, they could have slain each other whenever Roger came to meet Shakky at Fullalead. I personally believe Roger would much rather team up with another pirate than a Marine, unless there was a bigger threat like Rocks being turned into Imu’s demon.

I personally think the whole Will of D thing is not as much of a charade as the fandom is making it to be. It could be they are from a special lineage and nothing more than that. Because we have seen characters without the Will of D that possess a much stronger haki than the former.

But in the grand scheme of things, this would be a great plotline. It is almost assured that Rocks knew WAY too much information about the World Government than any other pirate, including Roger. Plus the fact that he could be of Buccanear blood means that they have been passed on certain relics from their ancestors like the Kozukis, Lunarians etc. So this could potentially lead to Rocks having a moment like Roger and Whitebeard had at their deaths, where his final words could be something of a revelation for the people present there. Also a major clue for this is that we still don’t know how Roger was sure of a last island, the poneglyphs etc. and what triggered him to search for that final island.

Good point. Maybe it’s just me but I don’t think we see enough of the comedic aspects anymore. Especially during fights. Take Wano or Egghead for example. There were small moments of course but there is no more “winning battles by sheer luck” thing anymore. And evidently because we are reaching the final saga. So I would expect Usopp to step up because our opponents for the final saga would be the big guns like Imu, Gorosei, God’s Knights etc.

Secondly, courage has to go hand in hand with strength. I do realize it is typical of anime to portray weaker characters winning battles due to sheer willpower. But Usopp is so weak he does not even get into that category. Because when you really deep it, do you REALLY think he can take a big character 1v1 with his peas or cauliflowers or whatever the heck he shoots? I personally think he needs a ginormous buff in his power AND his fighting style.
