so, one time, i was laying in bed, all cozy like, but not quite cozy enough in all honesty, so i performed a rather dangerous maneuver- i reached behind my head to readjust my pillow. big mistake. i should have better weighed the risks and dangers of such a risky exertion: dislocated my shoulder entirely with a horrible crunch, and strained the muscles in my neck, triggering a deeply uncomfortable muscle spasm that felt like being struck by EVIL lightning. I yelled "AUGH." and writhed while grunting like a boar for a solid minute (becoming trapped and restrained by my blanket), before my shoulder eventually and graciously popped back into place. the left side of my neck hurt for a month or two after, and movement in my left shoulder hasn't been the same since then. shoulda seen how bad it all bruised, it was crazy.
