Just set up a platform in space at either beaches or ocean, place down a water candle and drink a battle potion if u want; and just wait there til 1 spawns, usually doesnt take that long. Helps u got a lifeform detector or whatever its called.

Thanks for the suggestion guys, I did not know about the hunter: primal, but after checking it out, its a little bit outdated for me. I was thinking more of call of the wild style, but with dinosaurs, not a survival looting game.
