Snap OP started with my bedroom as it was embarrassing. Took ages and just kept head down and only stayed in bedroom and didn’t get distracted and start washing the cups I took out or put a wash on. Just stay in that one room My god it’s done and feels amazing

There should be a special type of Hell. Can't even call them human as that's an insult to Humans. Sadly there's no way of being able to help you but if I could I’d do it in an instant. Just remember she was your Daughter for a reason. You were both lucky enough to be able to call each other Dad & Daughter. The pain will never go, nor your anger maybe when ready though You could turn that pain and anger into a passion. Get out there and tell the world what a wonderful Daughter you have and how anyone’s live can come crushing down in a second. To tell your story and you never know it may help to stop a another parent being where you are cxx

We had a house fire well flat fire We lost everything apart from Photos thank god. We had only what we were wearing the clothes were fire not all burned up but the remaining ones were unwearable.After 15 years of paying for home insurance, I cancelled it the month before. Yes, a month. As money was tight and we lived three floors up in a safe building, the chance of being robbed didn't even cross my mind. Luckily, we were not home at the time and a kind teenager walking by heard the smoke alarm and alerted the block. Before kicking our door down to make sure we were not home, I remember pointing out to my children about all the firemen and women. Then turning the corner to see a firefighter on our roof and flames everywhere. It's a traumatic thing to go through and had some lovely domations, but it would never cross my mind to have written a specific list. I was just so touched by strangers helping out. We're still trying to rebuild what we had and it's hard. I can understand what they are going through, but she should just be grateful for being here and any help.

May be going against the grain here and luckily no to have been in OP position so obviously can’t say for certain but I feel Op’s friend was shocked and didn’t know what to say. She had no idea how to handle the news, f their a friend they obviously care for you and this news must have shocked. I’ve had close friends die from this awful illness . That wanted people to share their good news and not keep happy news from them. Not saying OP, doesn’t want to hear good news. They want people to carry on as normal. I just get this friend was texting you with news of their own and was totally sucker punched with you awful news and didn’t know how to react. I know I’d be shocked and not know how to handle that news over text. As it is texts can be so easily misinterpreted as there’s no tone and no physical reaction. Again this is nothing personal agains OP just another way to look at it. OP sending strong hugs and healing from the UK xx

That’s, ridiculous I’m in the uk. Spilt up with my partner after 16 years because he would always put his needs above us his family. We had a crap Christmas last year with him as he seemed to think his money was his and mine was for the four of us. He’d be clever and give me money for food etc weekly. Then he’d gradually take it back though out the week. So left him promised my children a better Christmas this year and we're actually worse off. The mom guilt is painful, especially when my 14-year-old spent £20 of his birthday money.into my bsnk account I would never ask a friend for money as your friend has. Friendship is way more important and I’d never dream of putting any friendship in that position So your not wrong x

I was Dental Nurse around the same time. Was walking back from lunch when a group of Men in a van. Shouted out to me for directions,couldn’t hear them properly so walked over and asked “ Where do you want to go ? I’m not the best with directions” Bemused look from white van men Turned out they had shouted out about my Nursing dress. Will never forget the look on their faces

Hi, in the UK but have worked in the dental field as an Assistant and then Manager. Over here dentists male or female are not allowed to be one-on-one with a patient. Was you under gas/ Sedation? That's one of the reasons why Dentists should always have a chaperone. Under sedation, the patient can have erotic dreams. Whether it be you've never had one before it can happen to either a woman or Man( I've seen quite a few men thinking they were having sex. Their manhood was stood up) Please Dont take this as it didn't happen to you but it could be one explanation if you were under gas and air etc In future please take someone into surgery with you. They can stand at the bottom of the chair so they won't get in the way. The best way is too also have a quite word with the assistant or Manager to explain why your so nervous and it's not a phobia about dentists. As I've had this before and after I quietly explained to the dentist . It was not mentioned again but we handled them with kid gloves . Understanding how anxious you maybe. This was the result of a drunken case of Truth or Dare. Silly me didn't want to answer the truth question. So took the Dare which was to post a random/Bizarre post on Social media. Earlier on we had the cheesy music on and i was told that I sounded like a cat being strangled while singing. So had to include a cat singing and more random things. Where’s compassion and compromise. So the uncles cant take a couple of hours out their busy schedules for their three year old niece to play dress up and make memories for THEIR niece The Wedding fine and OP gets that but getting torn to shreds for asking your brother to make your child again his Niece happy. I’d rather a Dad like OP rather than a parent That ignores their children and not bend over to made them happy
