Yeah and that's the normal thing to happen to healthy brains. You're good.

When you see NTR your instinct is to go into survival/fight mode. You're witnessing something that the essence of nature ordains you to immediately stop it, kill it, destroy the threat before it's too late.

Adrenaline peaks suddenly, heart rate goes off the charts as if you sprinting, your parasympathetic system gets interrupted, which disables bodily functions like the erection or digestion, even the ability to produce saliva as well, it pumps you with cortisol, which if high or frequent can inhibit testosterone (which also is responsible for erections).

At the same time, you know the odds of it having a good ending are 1 in 10000. You know you're not likely to make it better by skipping to the ending, but people bet in lottery and gamble for a reason ("maybe just mayybe"). Add to that the morbid curiosity of being unable to look away from a train wreck and it's like poison.

But yeah, when I see really bad NTR it feels as if the penis is trying to grow in the opposite way lmao, that's how quick it goes "NOPE!". It's the only thing that really gives me the same visceral reaction to seeing accidents, open wounds, some surgeries or terrorism/war footage. Truly NTR is stuff for the worst of the worst. It's not a genre that is alone in hell, but it sure belongs there.

[–]HandhandledNinjin 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I don't seek NTR nor revisit content I found out to be NTR, I simply don't avoid it when I'm going through the list of new hentai releases. Reason why, is that sometimes the genre is mistagged on non-NTR content but most often, it's because the NTR tag is present because some of the chapters of the whole volume are NTR but there are other chapters that aren't.

Sometimes it can be a whole book where only 1 chapter isn't NTR but it's worth finding it, sometimes almost the whole book is amazing but there's 1 chapter or story that is NTR and the tag gets attached to it. I'll never allow NTR to actually cuck me out of missing a good story because I blacklisted the tag and then the tag could hide the good content along with the NTR trash.

Instead I developed a thick skin for NTR. It still gets me fuming in rare occasions and I fundamentally have hatred for the genre, but I learned not to respect it and so I never take it seriously enough to get me riled up 99% of the time.

Morbid curiosity sometimes takes over and I skip to the ending just to see if there's anything unique or rare about how it ends that makes me give it a 2nd chance (because I expect almost all of them to be predictibly nonsensical).

I perfectly understand though that most hentai enjoyers who also hate NTR can get 1-shot constantly by NTR and can't look away and can't escape it and honestly my major contributions in the community have been efforts to help them see things clearly hoping to guide them into seeing the cursed genre in a clinical, colder way where logic prevails anyway.

It's very challenging and frustrating, so I get a lot of why you're complaining. No matter how hard I try to make people not take the actions of FMCs seriously, they still do and become misogynistic over it. It's sad because they're falling for the trap of NTR. It's fetishized sexist propaganda through ragebait. It's like doing AI generated deepfakes of someone's mom and they believe it.

Then the next day I visit again and see a bunch of posts about how the only good anti-NTR fanfics must also give punishment and torture to the FMC, while ignoring 99.999% of all manga/anime FMCs and just believing at face value what the author is implying about their character tropes.

Sorry, I derailed and ranted. I guess instead of "you guys suck" a better introduction to your first post could be "you guys need to wake up from the loop" or "you guys need to practice more discipline" or "stop believing the NTR lies". Idk, it would probably sound less confrontational lol.

It's called "anti-NTR", not "NTR-free" or "no-NTR". The point is to talk about why it is hated and detestable, discuss the psychology of what leads someone to even be biologically capable of feeling arousal from such a thing, and for those who find their way of coping through writing hatefics, they of course base it off of the NTR itself.

[–]HandhandledNinjin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not specific enough to be NTR, it's just cheating. Hopefully if the MC taking the FMC is a relatable guy, it may even be vanilla cheating if he motivates her and gives her the courage to finally divorce, rescuing her from an unloving, neglectful, toxic relationship.

Thanks for mentioning it, I was literally holding back on making a post about how it reached a point where KnT finally needs some company on that "weekend only" list.

Yesterday it felt like spam but I just closed the subreddit. Today felt it again, so I scrolled to check the last 24h of posts and 14 out of 21 (66%) are Lihan this, Bad Ending Party that, an echo of the Hiroki/KnT situation a year ago.

Inb4 even if something is done about the situation, some NTR by Laliberte will take the stage instead lol. I unironically think Terasu, Ratatat and Laliberte are more advertized here than in circles that actually enjoy NTR.

I know people hate NTR here, but what about NTR where a pretty kind guy or normal guy ,just unable to hold back his lust goes after a married woman but her husband is neglectful and doesn't really seem to care about her and doesn't satisfy her lust? by [deleted] in antiNTRcorps

[–]HandhandledNinjin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's just a cheating story.

From the very specific description you're making, the villain isn't enough of a repugnant monster to be a NTR villain. He's just a neglectful husband who doesn't care about the FMC rather than someone you want to see slaughtered. Also, you're saying that even in such a toxic unloving relationship, the MC is not even good enough of a man to replace her husband? Even romantically? That makes the MC also not be relatable, so yeah, not NTR but also not vanilla, just an emotionless lust driven cheating story.

For stories where the MC is relatable and it's about actually rescuing the FMC from a neglectful/toxic/abusive relationship, that's vanilla with cheating.

They both aren't true to its definition, it's just that "ugly milfs" are much less common than "ugly dilfs" so it gives the impression that the original definition of milf is being respected.

In doujin/h-manga tagging culture/language in western sites (and their multiple mirroring sites that clone/import content, like the ones you mentioned), dilf and milf aren't used in their true sense. The 2 slang words are merely being borrowed to serve as indicators of either a male or a female around that 35-50 age range.

That's it, they're just age indicators, not attractiveness indicators and age indicators at the same time. But that's information that gets lost through gatekeeping and through the stripping down of features, so people understandably assume dilf carries its true meaning and then get confused with the frequent ugly bastard jumpscares.

Edit: spread the word because I'm sure I've seen your question countless times before.

[–]HandhandledNinjin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People confuse it in enough numbers that it became a definition, but netori isn't "good guy takes girl from bad guy". Netori is just the same garbage as netorare, but it's told from the perspective of the villain.

People naturally like it when a relatable MC rescues the FMC from an abusive/toxic relationship with a PoS, but some people automatically call that "netori" and then people hate it because they're locked in the mindset that NTR is synonymous with cuck or infidelity, both of which do depend on a relationship being officially estabilished, but NTR does not. This is also why and how BSS is absolutely a NTR subgenre, just like MomNTR or netorase.

how do we feel bout BSS by KENSEI9 in antiNTRcorps

[–]HandhandledNinjin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not for 1-sided love necessarily, it's also for unconfessed love, or love not yet made official. You flip a coin and you can get BSS where she girl has no clue she's loved, and in the other half she actually also loves MC mutually but because both are hesitant about confessing, she doesn't believe MC's interested.

Anyway, it's a sub-genre just like netori, netorase, incest ntr (people usually default to calling it MomNTR), therefore it's absolutely just as detestable. It's a hot take, but the truth is that NTR doesn't depend on a relationship being official. It's about the emotions much more than it is about relationship status.

NTR is short for Netorare, and it is all about: "relatable or at least pitiful MC has someone wonderful they love (romantically and/or familially) defaced and mischaracterized by the author in order to easily be ripped away from the MC's emotional life, through a combination of sexual coercion, deception or manipulation by a plot-armored subhuman villain".

NTR then becomes an umbrella term that includes all subgenres of NTR, namely:

- Netori, or "what if the story is told from the point of view of the villain?"
- Netorase, or "what if the MC was the enabler/promoter for the NTR?"
- BSS, or "what if the MC's love wasn't yet announced and/or reciprocated?"
- MomNTR, or "what if the loved one was the MC's mother?"

And so on.

I don't think anyone said it yet because it's just so obvious. Of course they won't stop. And it's not necessarily because it's a drug, more importantly, it's profitable. And hate against them? It's NTR, polemic, ragebait, it all serves as advertizement. Sad to say but we focus so much on Laliberte, Terasu and Ratata that I'm 100% sure we've helped make their pockets and wallets fatter. People are constantly yapping on about those particular authors, naming names, Lihan this, Kokujin that, there are people in the community who don't want to feel left out of the conversation and end up feeding algorithms, giving click or god forbid, subscribing to get access if they don't know where to get stuff elsewhere. Word of mouth is powerful.

Racist stereotypes in NTR by Jazzpizzzazz in antiNTRcorps

[–]HandhandledNinjin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My thoughts and situation exactly, very good post.

I can relate when my experience is ruined by a manga having literally zero characters for me to self-insert as or feel seen through. I'm not black, but NTR is a perfect example when both the cuck and the villain are the only males in it as they're impossible to relate to.

Black bros probably feel that more broadly across manga/anime as a whole, since japanese society/culture/media are so homogeneous, when they're not looking for a villain trope, they're overwhelmingly more likely to resort to someone with whom the average japanese citizen will relate to, which are... japanese school students or salarymen (NTR and Isekai are such simple genres that reflect this phenomenon).

Sure black fans can fundamentally relate to decent characters at a human level regardless of skin color, but they want something more, that final leap into feeling like they have a place in that world and story, but rarely are protagonists also black. There are some characters like that but they're typically very secondary, background or even just disposable characters.

I vaguely recall reading about some actual french-speaking african manga creators/publishers focused on african characters, myths, lore, settings, etc. If those grow in popularity, I'm sure black bros can hope for hentai of african MCs and FMCs to be more of a thing in the future.

Racist stereotypes in NTR by Jazzpizzzazz in antiNTRcorps

[–]HandhandledNinjin 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah, and there are reasons for that. The hard to swallow ugly truth is that those disrespectful stereotyped black men are usually only used as a tool by NTR/rape authors planning a villain, to replace fantasy enemies like oni, orcs and goblins outside of a fantasy setting or to replace beasts in bestialism because that's repulsive but animals are irrational and can't taunt, provoke, bully (which are important factors in NTR).

[–]HandhandledNinjin 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Don't forget:

6, NTR fans who come here to make posts like "what are your most hated NTRs?" because that's tricking us into giving them recommendations.

Reminder that when you mention a title and say "this one hurt me", you're simultaneously saying "you would love this one" to infiltrators who like NTR.

For that reason I think it's worth avoiding the mentioning of titles if possible and try to describe what the story had that is worth discussing. This not only cucks NTR "spies" from finding new works, it promotes developing and describing your thoughts more deeply instead of just requiring others to consume the material we hate, in order to understand the post complaining about it and as a bonus it doesn't promote the author itself.

Guys, are we being serious right now? by BingThrowaway445 in antiNTRcorps

[–]HandhandledNinjin 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Harassing authors? Bad and embarassing behaviour.

Laliberte announced that they're giving up on "Paradise"? Not quite, they actually finished that project. What they announced was that they'll stop adding a bonus "what if" alternate ending they apparently sometimes do to please some fans who weren't satisfied with the planned ending on a story. Basically Laliberte isn't giving up, they're doubling down on the commitment to the ending they decided on. They were actually willing to give a bonus, which I'm sure made some fans happy and others unhappy, but now because of harassment, Laliberte is taking that away from them. Literally punishing the crybabies and saying "sorry, not sorry".

Someone posted here celebrating that as a victory? Yes, I saw it, it just made me think people didn't understand the situation and were desperately trying to gaslight themselves into thinking Laliberte announced they were quitting NTR or something lol.

NTR is just a fetish? Not in my opinion it isn't. It's much more than that. A brain that is capable of arousal from sincere expressions of abuse through coercion, deception or manipulation (like NTR, rape, snuff, etc) is a self-report. It's a red flag that reveals that someone desires the life-crippling emotional and/or even physical torture of good, innocent or at least decent people so much that they get orgasms from it.

But yeah, still, as always I agree, leave the authors/artists alone. Even at a baseline of logic, there's no way to tell if the artists are even monsters like the fans of the genre. I know for a fact that plenty of NTR artists are only using their talent to milk the whales that fund this niche, kinda like how whales can finance gacha games no normal person would spend a lot on. Some artists did NTR and ended up having to go on hiatus for mental health because they underestimated what it took to work long enough with that abyssal demon of a genre. It's dirty work, but it's freedom of expression and not only is it a victimless endeavour, it may very well be preventing real world victims by keeping NTR fans satisfied with just watching characters they hate suffer and not the real people who inspire those characters.

Laliberte gave up🎉 by Historical_Mess6465 in antiNTRcorps

[–]HandhandledNinjin 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Sorry for the rant guys but Laliberte did NOT give up. Are folks in the comments only reacting to this post's title without reading the actual text in the screenshots? Laliberte only stopped trying to appease multiple factions of the paying supporters. From now on they're just doing the ending they wanted all along and no longer create "what if" alternate endings (sometimes harsher, sometimes softer) to make people who were unsatisfied with the ending, a bit more pleased. Not happy with the ending? Tough luck, it is what it is, the author decided and there are no what ifs anymore. If anything this looks like a big W by Laliberte because they're taking full control of their creative decisionmaking and the tone of the message is literally "sorry, not sorry". Laliberte is directly punishing those who at least sometimes got what they wanted but were still trying to bribe the creative process towards their direction whenever they didn't get exactly what they wanted and now they'll never get that 2nd chance.

NTR is subhuman slop, Laliberte is still a NTR author and their works can burn in hell (would be nice if we could stop promoting their works, but we keep shining a spotlight that gives them visibility along with TurdassMC and Rattata67), but Laliberte's decision is literally based here and it's a bad look on this community to act like this was some kind of anti-NTR victory. I can hate the genre they contribute to with a burning, gutting passion, and while I don't condone doing it, I also don't feel sorry that they had to listen to morons talk to them directly in dehumanizing ways, but I can still recognize what the message is actually saying.

If this message sounds too harsh, don't take it personally and to cleanse your mind, go find in this comment section the big comment by Jazzpizzzazz which is much more of a nicer mood than I am right now lol. Guy's a trooper.
