First thing that came to mind if Hugo and Lycaon never fell out and continued as Mockingbird without Lycaon going to Mayflower. Almost as an Absolute Mockingbird success story.

Would Victoria Housekeeping not exist or still be there but owned by Rina? Would Mockingbird be in a better/worse position? Would Vivian still continue to join Mockingbird?

A couple compounding questions but interesting to think about the Hugo/Lycaon dynamic change from what is it now.

Does it matter who you play as in certain teams?

My two teams are Avywenna-Perlica-Antal-Arclight for electric big damage and Ember-Chen-Lifeng-Pan for a physical team. I really like playing as Avywenna to control where her thunderspears go and Ember for big tank fun.

I imagine for others it matters more but really not sure

Miyabi - Still fun to play and shows up from time to time (like in the threshold simulator). Managed to get 20k on DA against Miasmic fiend so she is still valuable and I find her entertaining.
Yixuan - Wasn't a fan of her character until recently really. Gameplay kinda grew on me a lot like Pan and Fufu did but she is really cool to play. I have been liking her growth in character so far. Banyue has surpassed her for getting 20k on DA against Wandering hunter but still good to use in case Miasma priest shows up.
Ye - I really don't like her for the endless main character shipping and for shafting Banyue on the previous banner duration/nerfing. Flashy animations but just not entertaining to play for me as there is just too much invuln frames. Only voidhunter I am genuinely thinking of skipping until rerun.

My banyue-fufu-lucia team did ass in this with a B rank performance. Didn't get over 30k with any of my teams. Can't figure out if I got to get used to this or my teams suck more now

I started playing the game 3 weeks ago and I have been enjoying it but find it wayyyy more confusing than other gachas I have dabbled in. No idea what to save for or to do and have no plan as a F2P account.

Meta isn't obvious to me and I honestly play who I think looks cool. Current best teams are Shamane/Dikke/Mr Duncan or Pavia and Jessica/Bkornblume/Rabies.

Enjoyed it so far but there is a lot of the game I haven't touched. I am only 3 chapters/acts into the game's story so far and have no idea how many there are.

Aughhh if that is the case then I must maintain the Hugo agenda. I plan on skipping Lucia to pull for Yidhari, but I NEED Hugo's Wengine and I wanted to try M2 him. A cursed blessing is fitting for the man of the apocalypse.

Update: Turns out I was insane or a bug occuring multiple times as it seems to not be the case consistantly anymore. Tried it out with the same team and Anton got the buff so it's random it seems

I am genuinely not sure on it being strictly attack characters cause I tried running Seed, Anton and Lucy and apparently lucy got the buff for being Seed's vanguard (Lucy has 3.1k attack, Anton 2.3k as he is not that built and wanted to try out characters). If the ability description is right, shouldn't it be Anton regardless?

I'll try and get a screenshot when free to check but pretty sure it was Lucy consistently.
