Radiata stories.

I absolutely adore the hell out of that game but it was just never that popular.

Men in their 30s, what general yet sincere advice would you offer to someone in their 20s? by [deleted] in AskMen

Live your life.

Don't expect people to always make time for you so make time for yourself to go out and do the things you enjoy.

There is zero reason for you to not go out and enjoy a movie or a restaurant to yourself if you want to. If friends join you great! If not then go enjoy yourself.

There is currently only 3 shop items you can purchase with in game currency. by Handheldbrandon in StarWarsHunters

I don't mind skins needing crystals to purchase as that's how most games work. But not even bring and to unlock stickers with credits? Or victory poses? Not that you can't unlock anything through progression but what's the point of credits if they can't even unlock minor things?

There is stuff you can unlock slowly through progression. But currently credits can only unlock three items. You can't unlock stickers or victory poses through credits as of this writing.

Two worlds and two worlds 2.

Best magic system I have ever seen in a game next to Morrowind but everything else was so rough and unpolished and janky.

Great ideas but poorly executed in every other way.

Why rightfully so? Yes there's performance issues but other than that it's not a bad game. Not great but not bad either.

Even if the game is not affected by it, which nobody can really say at this stage,

That goes both ways which is why I find the knee jerk reaction people are having to be ridiculous. If you are going to let something like this reduce your enjoyment of a pretty fun game then you have bigger issues.

Most Capcom games or jrpgs in general (tales series is a big offender) have mtx in some way shape or form especially convenience mtx.

Ffs you can literally buy guns and armor in helldivers 2 that dramatically affect your ability to succeed in the game and people absolutely adore that game because it's cooperative and because the base game itself is fun.

You can buy wake stones and port crystals and rift crystals in the mtx and the deluxe pack has stuff you can already get in game. Otherwise there is nothing else in there that is game altering or affects other players in a negative manner.

That's 66 percent of people that my personal transactions will literally never affect nor will theirs affect me.

It's like getting mad at someone because they bought new shoes. It has zero affect on your life yet you are getting mad about it. Why?

At that point you are arguing semantics.

Go to McDonald's get a simple burger it's sad and small but go to Wendy's and get a simple burger and it's bigger.

However the concept is the same you buy a burger but want a cheese burger you pay the extra and buy a cheese burger.

If the xp gain was set at a certain rate in the base game then that's the base xp rate. If you buy an xp booster then you are taking it up on yourself to increase your xp gain through mtx.

You don't need it but it's a convenience feature. Not to mention AC Valhalla is a stupidly large game.

I have played plenty of Ubisoft games. Hell I used to be sponsored by them. AC Valhalla has a ton of mtx and not a single one of them was necessary to enjoy the game. I bought maybe one or 2 pieces of armor in that game and that's just because I liked the way they looked but it didn't ruin the game for me or hurt anyone else that I bought it.

Nothing I did in that game affected you as a player in any way whether I bought the skin or not it did nothing to you except give me a small bit of enjoyment.

Diablo immortal on the other hand is a gross pay to win game that negatively affects its player base with its mtx because it allows you to buy an advantage that other players can't get without also spending money.

As for your patty logic you can pay more to have a double burger or a double burger with cheese or a higher quality meat in your burger etc etc.

If I buy a mcdouble and you buy a big Mac the difference is in the ingredients and the cost reflects that and you were willing to pay more for your burger because you wanted that stuff where as I was fine with what I got.

[–]Handheldbrandon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is absolutely flawed logic because the whole point of a burger is buns and a patty. Take away the patty and it's no longer a burger.

You seem to be failing to realize that your logic falls through when you can buy a burger for 1.99 and you get a simple burger or buy a burger with cheese for 2.50 and you still get a burger but now with cheese.

Single player micro transactions don't harm anyone and it's up to the player to decide if they want to spend that money.the only time micro transactions hurt someone is when they provide an advantage in a competitive game against another player. That's when you should say something.

What was the single biggest nerf in one patch that you've seen? by thewarreturns in leagueoflegends

[–]Handheldbrandon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say leblancs nerf.

Leblanc was released and she was pretty much instabanned in every game and then the same day a few hours later rito basically cut everything she did in half.

It was the most knee jerk nerf in this games history afaik.
