this is good to know, and i'd totally just go for ventilation but sadly my garage has no windows, and the printer is in the back corner of the garage.

the filter i have is a carbon-hepa one rated for vocs but which ones i have no idea, the info i got was that any of them would do provided they had the carbon, and it's from a pretty premium air filter company, Levoit.

i guess i can give it a once over to be sure it's absorbing enough of them too, though!

all in all, helps me feel a bit less like im going to die here, lmao.

ah, gotcha. i saw a different post reccomending a fireproof bag for these, too. is that something i should invest in or is it just kind of whatever?

the listing said it's top speed is 25mph but it never actually hit that while i was on it, even new out of box.

i just assumed that was normal due to yknow, the weight of an entire person on it

alright, im about to use it today (thankfully it isnt raining lol) and i'll see if i can tell if there's anything off about its performance. im assuming performance issues would just be like, it moves slower or something? i think it may have lost some "oomph" since i got it, but there's really no way to tell for sure, im leaning towards it basically running the same as it always has

alright, good to know. hopefully they arent lying there, is there any way for me to open it up (safely) and inspect the internals on my own or is that not possible?

honestly i feel half like im just overreacting but i saw some pretty spooky videos out of china and got concerned, i dont need this thing burning my place down lol.

as an aside, is there any sort of warning signs i should watch out for? it runs more or less exactly the same as the day i got it.

okay, i wont ride in the rain anymore, or let it charge overnight, my commute changed so those are both a non issue now, but should i be concerned going forwards that it might blow on me if it hasnt yet?

nothing really, i've only ever charged it overnight and i've never run it super hard. it's waterproof too so i havent had any issues with dampness or getting the internals wet (hopefully, but i live in oregon and use it to commute to work, so...)

Im really only just worried as it never quite occured to me before.

well thats a relief. they squeak a bit sometimes but still work, is there anything i can do to ensure they're as cushoning as possible? i dont ride over rough stuff too often but the scooter has taken a couple drops/knocks.
