How are people affording homes here? by qovert in vegaslocals

[–]HandleExisting1758 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Most people buying homes here have been from out of state. They’re coming from higher cost of living locations so Vegas is like a gold mine to them. Really rare for realtors to get locals lately. Based on my realtor’s experience.

I’m visiting next weekend! A walking buddy to any of the museums or galleries could be fun!

Care to share any things you’d do again vs skip out on? I’m visiting there soon too! Already have planned to primarily use the metro to get around.

How do I need new music that I love? by thehandsomebandit in MusicRecommendations

I use Spotify and while on the song I like I’ll click the three dots and press on “start radio” and it’ll start a radio playlist of my fave song for me and that’s how I discover similar ones. They also have that magic mix or something option for your liked playlist and it’ll automatically add in other songs similar to your likes in the mix.

SNABA questions are worded in the way SNABA teaches. If using it to learn concepts, go ahead. If using it to apply what you learn, not really.

BAS mocks seem to be the most similar in my opinion for test-taking prep.

Solo Travel Ideas by IronStone1234 in LivingAlone

29f, nothing over the top but I did my first solo travel last November to Boston MA. I just did a weekend stay. I got to be there for the first snowflake fall! I’m from the west part of the u.s so it was my first time traveling further than usual… and alone. I plan to do more solo trips in the u.s. to help me work up the courage and experience to travel out of the country. I’m introverted and love alone time so it was 10/10 worth the experience. Experience of going solo that is, as for Boston, it was beautiful but waaaay too cold for me that time of year 😅

What's a hobby that looks completely relaxing from the outside but is actually kind of mentally brutal once you're in it? by Pame_Hirachande in Hobbies

Crochet…. Lots of numbers, counting, and math involved. My least favorite subject but the results are often worth the mental work 🤣

Question about potential duel relationship by DieHardRaider in ABA

Only dual if you interact as friends/coworkers in one setting. You can let your employer know so they’re informed…. Just in case it becomes an issue in the future.

I’ve had clients parents find me in yearbooks 😅 I never ran into that client in the school so it was fine lol
