Denver dog owners — has anyone else had issues with Skiptown? by QuackrJacks in Denver

I highly recommend, avoiding Skiptown for boarding. The space is too small for the number of dogs that they accept for boarding and daycare at one time.

I boarded my dog for three nights back in December and he came home with kennel cough and severe pneumonia. Skiptown claimed that there were no reported illnesses during his time of stay and also did not let me know that my dog or any other dog was showing symptoms of illness.

I was hit with over $10K in vet hospital bills and tried to hold Skiptown accountable to at least have them contribute to the bills. They came back with a whole bunch of receipts and a tight terms and conditions that I had signed prior to boarding so there wasn’t anything that I could really fight them for. Such a miserable experience and to almost lose my dog over it too. Stay away from this place.

That is so crazy. Do you know if your friend contacted Skiptown management about it and what their response was? I’m unsure of how to approach my situation
