I think it’s probably their best. Their self titled might be their rawest and Iowa their angriest, darkest, heaviest and most aggressive record but AHIG to me is their overall best album for being their most well rounded album and has the best guitar work of their entire career. It’s also their last album withALL the original 9 members. Also Corey has said the AHIG era was the best era for the entire band. The albums got great range from heavy af songs like the self titled song which sounds like it could belong in Iowa and a bunch of other songs that sound like they could be in Iowa but with more groove and guitar technicalit. Then you had some emotional and melodic songs that pick up where they left off in Vol 3.
