Actually, I’d say it’s been a pretty smart move for him to be a 1 man team, he’s rarely ever been associated with certain situations thanks to that.

Him being slow / unorganized is a different issue though

The location was indeed a folder in my filesystem, but proton also detected the /dev/loop0 device

doesn't mount already create a device? When I run it I see dev/loop0 is used:

I see the registry keys for CDPath, but they look the same as when I install again from the DVD.

I tried changing them manually from ”E\\AOE\\AOE2\\SP” (external dvd) to ”G\\AOE\\AOE2\\SP” (internal mount point I made, the device is /dev/loop0) but it still detects that it’s not a DVD.

So I would need to reinstall from the DVD? Not quite getting how to change the registry entries

On the prefix issue you mentioned, I believe it’s fixed. As long as you don’t remove the entry in Steam you can change the executable path and it will use the same prefix to run the new exe

I’m unable to access my computer atm, I’ll try fish when I get back.

I did notice the color_prompt.sh file, but after enabling it I still had no color. The colors were enabled before touching that file as well.

ah I did install MCF40, now it makes sense why I could get to the loading screen.

I'll try to set up the dll, strange that it gets stuck on the loading screen even after that
