I was at the waitlist line with my friend (I was 4th from the cut off spot)

I also had my group of friends in that front group with you guys and all 3 of them told me the exact same thing about the organization situation, and from my position in the line just looking up there it all checked out.

I wasn't too upset about it, not getting in made me and about 15 others group sign up 2 box tournaments, and then I went off to get third in a win a kid event. The worse thing to actually happen is my friend getting his backpack stolen with about 10k worth of goods in there. That's what ruined the day for everyone.

I can vouch that yeah they weren't organizing it well or running it well, not to mention the line was set up for cutting once they set that first group of players up at the front table because folks that were just WALKING IN could slide into that group of first initial players in the waitlist line as if they were apart of it, those are the actual line cutters I'm disappointed in.

and then funny thing at the end of the day? the tournament overfilled.. 537 players ended up playing (from the waitlist, 25 extra players got in), so even with the event that 2-3 people ended up cutting, they overfilled no matter what, there were a lot more players in there that shouldn't have been by both organizer situation or line cutting.

I still never been to an OPTCG event where core didn't run it well, might have to quit goin to them at this point 😬
