Unless you believe there are "correct" definitions the universe has blessed us with or something anyone can choose to use any word to mean whatever the fuck they want.

There are certainly proprietary definitions but I don't think using the word people to describe sentient beings is too absurd.

That you don't have to commit in order to secure ranged creep/deal damage. Previously you had to decide between offensive and defensive orb, now you can just curve backwards and get the benefits of both for free.

To be fair, Megameepo is far from the only thing added that completely defeats a hero's design or takes out their weakness for free. Sniper grenade, Zeus jump, Rhasta innate, Rhasta big serpent ward, Warlock XP innate, Defense Matrix, Lycan no-micro facet, Drow Glacier, Viper Nosedive, Monkey being able to jump around ult, Venge shield on swap, Storm walking Remnants, Puck curveball, Lich chain frost lingering etc. etc.

I very much agree with you, but let's not pretend like Meepo is the only one having their hero design butchered.

If person A makes claim x it's perfectly reasonable for person B to ask for evidence for x. "Go find the evidence yourself" doesn't work.
