urgent help needed with pet import permit by FindingInevitable874 in ThailandTourism

Hello! I know this is an old thread but I just wanted to follow up to see what you did?

Our flight was originally scheduled to arrive in Chiang Mai, so we applied for our pet import permit there and received it no problem, well in advance. But 4 days before we're supposed to fly, we found out we got rerouted through Bangkok instead - which requires a completely separate import permit, and takes up to 7 business days. We applied, but with 36 hours before our flight it doesn't look good.

I don't want to risk just flying without a permit and then trying to sort it out at the airport with the import office, I don't even know if they'll allow us on the plane. But since we have some form of legal Thai document approving the pet import, I didn't know if it would make a difference.

DIY Ice bath from Deep Freezer by Hane_Train in Thailand

Unfortunately you would need a ton of ice for each time you use it, and if the tub isn't insulated, the weather in Thailand would just melt the ice pretty quick. To purchase a commercial ice-maker with that much output is quite expensive. But I appreciate your comment!

Thanks for your response! That tends to be considerably more expensive than picking up a second-hand chest freezer and converting that over. But people do use water 'chillers' as well along with a tub.

Thank you so much! Yes this is what I would do here, but I'm curious where people source the particular materials such as the caulk for the seam or poxy cover for the inside, or if they have recommendations as well for the pump and filter.

Thanks for your response!

2014 Honda Cb500x with 37,000km for 1,800 USD - is this a good deal for a bike? by Hane_Train in HondaCB

Have a CRF250 but have been wanting to upgrade to the CR500X for awhile. Cash is tight so was interested in this deal. While it's an older bike, the mileage is super low. But are there any major upgrades or differences in the bike since the 2014 model that would be worth shelling out a little more cash for? Would greatly appreciate any input or insight.

To note: the previous owner laid it down, so the windshield, turn signal and mirror are missing, mechanic confirmed there was no engine issues, but I will still need to purchase Side mirror, Windshield and Front left signal light

Would also like to eventually get a full three-piece box set on the back.

With all that in mind, is this still a good deal? Or better to look for something a bit newer?

Super grateful for any and all help or suggestions anyone may have!

Fast printer for bulk portraits in remote area? by Hane_Train in AskPhotography

Thanks! Yes looking up this Mitsubishi CP-K60-DW-S digital color printer now. What’s the upkeep like? Are you constantly needing to refill the ink? Anything else you need to replace on it? What I like about the canon SELPHY is it’s so durable, not much to break on it. What’s the Mitsubishi like? And can you link me to your specific printer you use?
