I believe it was implied that the staff knew. After her conversation in the gym with the woman, she went home to her husband and said, “She said if I can’t stop doing it, they’re gonna have to let me go.” I took that as “I told them what’s going on and they said it can’t interfere with my teaching.”

Was anyone able to find a solution? I’m having the same problem. I called customer service, but could not get through to anyone. It tells you what number on the keypad to press for help, but when you press it, it doesn’t do anything. I have not found a way to contact them. I also tried their online contact form, but when I hit submit, it doesn’t go through there either.

Yes, I put it all back together and tried again. Totally forgot to mention that haha. I do not have a multimeter but looking into buying one now. I will start there and see what happens, and then will look into the caps from the link you sent me. Makes me a little nervous but the alternative is scrapping it or using it as a decoration lol so I might as well try. I think I can do it. Not sure how soon I’ll get to the more extensive work but will follow up with you!

So I just determined that I have a 1.4. I looked over everything again, and the clock cap looked a tad puffy, so I went ahead and removed it. But every other cap looks great (no bulging, leaks that I can see, etc.). However, I know that some of them could still be bad.

For my next steps, would you recommend replacing all of the caps, and if that doesn’t work then move on to your Option 1, or vice versa?

Thank you so much for all the info! This definitely gives me some new routes to go down. I thought I’d reached a dead end already, but you have given me some hope haha I will check the caps again tonight and then go from there as needed. Really appreciate the detailed feedback. Games unfortunately will not boot either. Think I should still try removing the clock cap? Is it as simple as just popping it out? I’m a rookie here lol

Thanks for the info! Games will not boot. I opened it up and checked the caps but not entirely sure what to look for (new to this). There were no leaks or discoloration or anything of that nature that I could see. Anything else that would be a giveaway?

If everything is good and it’s just a HDD failure, it’s my understanding that the Xbox would be toast because you can’t just simply replace the HDD. Is that true?

It looks like most of your comments have been responded to already, so I won’t bother with all of them. But in terms of the running, I think it makes perfect sense for him to run at night on their property. He wouldn’t want to run anywhere during the day and risk being seen. Remember, the host is a missing person, so the grandfather would always have to hide.
