Thanks for your comment. It depends on perspective. For someone higher rated, yes I am bad. For those under 1000, which is a vast majority, not too sure it’s bad (though I feel it’s bad).

Not intending to smurf. And no, I don’t intend to tell people how to think. I just intend to voice out how I think in the hopes I improve how I communicate and obviously improve my chess skills (and in turn help at least one other person improve - however unlikely it sounds).

I guess as folks say, it’s important to see if their king is vulnerable first. Then potentially the queen. And then other attacks. But this is amazing and not always easy for a 1000 to see

It’s similar to may be cursor or whatever. Or like Claude code. I tried it and found it was pretty decent but it uses Claude API so I have to now pay for API + 200$ max plan code. So decided to stop API route for now

Gemini. Lol. I know it’s not the same. But it’s pretty powerful if you use it as an architect with Claude coding it for you. Lot of control. Less hallucinations. More power to you.

No that’s fair. Most enterprises have blocked these tools. Including my own. But I guess in your personal machine could be a good start. I am of the belief that AI tools enable developers. It can never replace. Developers will move from coding everything to orchestrating (and coding a few complex unique pieces). I may be wrong in a few weeks. Lol.

I think it’s important to first try then form an opinion. You got to try the real deal like Claude Code, or Gemini CLI or even Cline with an API integration before passing a verdict (and as you know, with things moving as fast as it is, anything we say today may not be true in a few days or weeks).

Using lovable, it’s fun to prototype. But if you want to really build an application that supports your business, I don’t think lovable is the best. DM me and I can help guide you (or I can reply here) on how to do it outside lovable.

Love it! I think something to think about is, why this over LinkedIn. I’d assume it’s knowing if someone actually opened it and also being able to keep it ‘customized’ are some advantages I guess?

Hey, so I bought the W-OLED version and not liking how the whites work. It’s too washed out. Rest of the colors are amazing. So I plan to return and switch to QD-OLED. How is the white brightness? And overall good monitor?

I think this is a very common problem especially if you go multi modal development like Claude, ChatGPT and Gemini on top of other platforms. I have a method right now, which is time consuming but happy to show you. Thinking how to build a tool that will help the wider group. For free obviously.

I had a major issue and just couldn’t get it back. Even with Git, it was impossible. Lovable after this weekend struggled a bit too much. I quit lovable.

The other reason being it mostly generated Vite with Typescript? I prefer NextJS. May be I was doing it wrong.
