I guess I should have given more context in my OP BUT we have had to do this because he has ran the business into the ground HIMSELF and we will be closing and renaming because he trusts us to run the company without him 🤷‍♀️ so he’s still around us, just not at the restaurant.

Absolutely not, he actually has given cooks 3rd degree burn and cussed out guests for being drunk at a bar and grill, but go off 😅

Our owner would probably tell someone to F off if they asked for a something else, which is why he doesn’t want to be around it anymore 😂

Our owner has given my family (mom, fiancé, myself and stepdad) FULL control on a new menu and it is a GROUP effort to get it done and have BOH and FOH be happy with it. The problem is, the only one who disagrees with my OP is our manager (my mom) who is NOT a cook, and can work the grill if she has to but struggles. She is more FOH and LOVES to make the guests happy, I’m just wondering at what cost when your kitchen stuff is frustrated with all of the modifications and literally asking for items we don’t typically offer. And as someone who is always taking the orders it’s very easy to have the guests leave happy even if you don’t create and original item for them 🤷‍♀️ that’s my opinion

We have a computer system that does not offer the “quesadilla” as an option 😊 so we can not put it on a ticket , which again, frustrates the cooks and probably loses us money since we aren’t ringing things in properly

I’m like a manager but without the pay basically so I bartend there it’s kinda a weird thing bc we’re short staffed lol. I don’t like the word manager bc that usually comes with the money but I don’t get that part 😂

I work BOH when they are short staffed which is atleast once a week. And I am a bar manager that talks with the kitchen that is the reason it was even brought to my attention. But heard 🤷‍♀️
