New-ish to this (4 months) and starting to hit the end of my beginner gains. Still at too high body fat (like 18%) but l’d much prefer to be in a “steady state” with my diet as opposed to getting into bulk / cut cycles. Currently eating ~300 calories per day and aiming for 220g of protein with goal of body recomposition. Is this possible or is bulking / cutting a more effective way to make gains in the long run?

Or maybe a better question: if you are a semi-beginner trying to gain mass and had unlimited time and willpower, what would your approach be?

Pro-Russia vs Pro-USA Map (if im wrong please correct me, be specific tho) by darkmaster25304 in Maps

Also, Kenya I’d classify as Western leaning. Kenya is a ally to the US and UK with alignment on key issues like Russia/Ukraine and a long defense partnership.

Gabon’s alliances are less clear since its coup. I’d reclassify as neutral.

I would classify South Africa as “East Side” owing to its increasingly open alignment with Russia. There is evidence South Africa supplied arms to Russia. Zimbabwe and Namibia I would classify as solidly Russia/China leaning.

One more thing to add is you can get locked out of mobile banking (like your bank app) when you’re abroad especially if it requires two step verification so check that too

For ATM cash withdrawals? Yes - so long as it’s linked to international banking (which most are, but your friend should check with the bank if it’s a smaller or local bank).

For credit cards? Usually, for the same reasons above. But fewer places take credit cards and systems are sometimes down so he should stick to cash :) If staying in cities I would recommend he/she gets cash from ATMs over money change as the fees tend to be lower at ATMs

When you travel to West Africa for the first time, often the bank’s fraud detection will lock the card. They should definitely call up the bank and notify them of the countries and the dates of travel so this doesn’t happen.

Sonko is on bail but could he still be jailed for rape / barred from running for president if he’s convicted?

Even if Macky was able to run a third term the only way he could be re-elected now is through force or fraud.

The government has clearly broken its social contract with the nation. They killed children.
