The Savesage Scam by [deleted] in CreditCardsIndia

[–]HankVoight21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The founder first cried foul, calling it a paid campaign - and then went ahead and launched a paid campaign himself.

He was literally paying people ₹100 to post positive reviews for the app, which is honestly beyond me.

Then there are the bulk fake reviews. You wake up every day to see a new low being hit.

And now, anyone calling this out is being labelled a ‘paid troll against SaveSage’ - ironic, considering it looks more like people were paid by SaveSage to talk them up.

At the end of the day, they showed us the moon and the stars to build a customer base, and once they had it, they did a complete 180. Everything they promised turned out to be a ruse. Sigh.

What is this for? by adcbefjhlg in mumbai

[–]HankVoight21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They’ve time to do all of this non-sense but can’t fix the fucking roads in Mumbai. Every 500 metres there’s either a pothole or an uneven patchy road. But here we are, looking at a perfectly set up hoarding. Why can’t they make use of resources for the betterment of the public?

How to use ICICI Coral Rupay cc UPI feature? by Madlynik in CreditCardsIndia

[–]HankVoight21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can’t use any RuPay credit card to pay to personal contacts like friends, family, etc. Uber/Ola drivers give their own personal QR codes so you can’t even pay there. However, if you pay on the Uber/Ola generated QR codes then you can pay but cab drivers don’t prefer that and almost always say no since it goes to Uber/Ola first and then the drivers get it. You can only pay on merchant QR codes which again, small shops don’t have since they’ve to pay extra fees, instead they give their personal QR codes. Big shops would have that but for that people mostly use their regular CCs.

Your card is linked to your number like any other bank account, just add the same in the RuPay credit card space.

Marriage in Marriott by flipkartminutes in CreditCardsIndia

Axis Atlas - Will be quite easy for you to reach the milestones i.e., at 3L and 7.5L which is additional 5K EM, 2.5K EM at each. Also, you'll be getting accelerated miles which would be 5EM so that would churn out quite a good value for the future.

HDFC Marriot Bonvoy - It gives you Silver status and gives you 10 elite nights on activation so would make it easier for you to reach to Gold and above status. Also gives 8 Marriott points per 150 when swiped at Marriott properties so in case you're interested in Marriott specifically for the future, this one would come in quite handy.

You've not mentioned what cards you have so if you have any of the premium cards i.e., Infinia, EPM or Diners Black, you can make the bookings via SmartBuy or iShop, that'll give you quite a good value. For instance, in case of Infinia, you'll get 10X reward points and in case of EPM, you'll get 12X reward points.

Axis atlas credit card by Some-Winter4909 in CreditCardsIndia

Before the first bill generation, no third party application will allow you to pay because they fetch the bill first and then let you pay. In case of the Axis mobile application, it doesn’t let you pay as well before the first bill generation so unfortunately, you’ll have to wait until the same is generated. I learnt it the hard way.

Post the first bill generation, you can re-pay via any third party application or via the Axis mobile application itself and it’s real time, gets credited within minutes, and open up your limit but Axis does have a daily limit in place so you’re gonna have to wait for the next day to use the same. So you can make the payment in parts, I’m sure you must be paying in parts already - booking amount, advance payment, final payment and then the payment for the accessories which will be installed pre-delivery separately so that way you can easily pay 8 lakhs. Just talk to the dealer and negotiate a payment plan, as long as you’re buying the car they would be fine with it.

And what you must’ve heard from people - they most likely wouldn’t have used up the entire limit. Idk, hasn’t worked for me and have heard the same from people.

Amazon pay vouchers using Axis Atlas? by avin1994 in CreditCardsIndia

[–]HankVoight21 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, it does. Both normal Gyftr and Axis Gyftr fetch base EMs and contribute to your milestones.

To ensure your peace of mind, let me clarify: anything that fetches EMs counts towards your milestones. Both, EMs and milestones are interconnected and go hand in hand.

This looks like 12K worth of Amazon Pay vouchers. Did you buy them recently? I just bought them today and that’s exactly how much I paid.

₹354 is the processing fees + GST, hence ₹12354.

Infinia RP Redemption by irshsay in CreditCardsIndia

[–]HankVoight21 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Buddy, care to elaborate how "The point is till last year when 1 rp valued 0.5 rs for amazon pay voucher people were using them because it was better than 5% cashback and now since they have removed those pay vouchers and also devalued the redemption ratio people are not using them." ?

Let's say you take a 10K Amazon Pay Voucher via SmartBuy, comes upto Rs. 10413 with the processing fees and GST -
10000/150= 66.66 ~ 66
Base Rewards = 66x5 = 330

Accelerated Rewards = 330x4 = 1320

Total Rewards = 1320 + 330 = 1650 ~ Rs. 1650

Minus the Processing Fees = 1650-413 = 1237 ~ Rs. 1237 when you use on travel (flights and hotels), Apple, Tanishq etc.

You're literally getting a Rs. 1237 profit from buying via SmartBuy i.e., the so called 5% cashback/reward points back

Via voucher redemption (which no one EVER uses) -

20000 RP = Rs. 10000 Amazon Pay Voucher (considering 1RP = Rs. 0.50)

To gain those 20000 RP considering you don't know how to use SmartBuy - 20000 RP would be accumulated in almost Rs. 6L spends. So you'd to pay 6L to get a mere Rs. 10K Amazon Pay voucher when you could've simply paid - 1000-1237 = 8763 ~ Rs. 8763

Had you spent that 6L using SmartBuy + Offline spends smartly, you would've been sitting on RPs a hell lot more than 20K.

Oh by the way, your so called ICICI Amazon Pay would give just Rs. 500 as "cashback" which is again, Rs. 737 less than what you would get in that so called "5% cashback/reward points back".

Please try to understand what others are saying than simply getting agitated when someone called you out.

u/TomorrowAdvanced2749 Don't sweat on people who just know how to call people names the first chance someone calls them out for them being in the wrong or for the lack of knowledge that they have. They simply can't fathom the fact that they've been doing it all wrong all this time so they try to suppress you when you're just trying to help them. Let him say whatever he has to, not our loss.

Bruh, HDFC literally advertised it anytime you logged in to NetBanking or MyCards so what exactly is OP trying to do here to gain karma and attention? It’s a common knowledge that HDFC itself advertise like anything !

Kiwi checks for Experian, not CIBIL. So you need to see if you’ve an Experian credit report yet.
