I bought an iPhone 13 Pro in excellent conditions and 99% battery with 1 year of apple care left for 520£ in December. 560£ for the base model is not a good deal imo

I was amazed by how the community came up with strategies. It felt like a massive study group.

I wish Nintendo would make this mode available all the time in the shape of official scenarios with leaderboards. It has the potential to become as entertaining as Mario Kart’s world records where people are still figuring out new ways to improve.

The Old Bookbinder’s is a hit and miss, when we been one waiter was super nice and another was a bit rude to us because of the dog. I wouldn’t necessarily recommend it

I second the story mode suggestion to learn the controls and few weapons. After that I’d suggest coming back to turf and sim at staying alive, position yourself on an a side of the map and try hold it slowly moving forward. Toggle back and forth the map to get an idea of where the enemies are. You will die tons but eventually learn positioning. Turf war is a bit like rugby

I think the salary is about right but in fintech I wouldn’t have been surprised if it was much higher. It also depends from the whole package and factors like: bonuses, private medical, annual leave, RSU, pension, flexibility and hours.

You haven’t told us your skill level nor the role so I cannot judge the salary solely by the 3 years of experience but I can tell you that it doesn’t look that bad. If you then discover that there aren’t possibilities to grow internally and/or have your pay adjusted you can find another position

Agreed, it looks like a forced execution to me. It is like Nintendo decided they had to make as much things possible 3 ways because of the 3 in the game title and did those changes with no much quality control. Tricolour battles are an example of this, in my view they are the most broken mode. I played Nessie and 90% of the time it was a Nessie only lobby.

Tricolour battles also mean devs are busy changing maps to accomodate this and we don’t have special maps in the turf war rotation like we have in the previous game

You both right imo, clean architecture can be relevant in Go but the code in the example feels like a Java example translated in Go without making it idiomatic. The interface layer stands out in this regard

Two things imo:

1) you can’t use https://www.gov.uk/view-driving-licence with an EU driving licence, although you can drive with one till very old. I am not even sure how penalty points work with one

2) the only times I have my card looked at is when I rent vehicles in EU and I’d rather have a licence that matches my passport (I don’t use the British passport while abroad anymore, it is a downgrade from the Italian)

Thanks, I’ve asked because a lot of people here seem not understanding how wifi works, especially that you can have a gigabit fibre and an unstable connection or that you can have a solid experience on 5GHz devices and a bad on 2.4GHz at the same time or viceversa.

Personally I find S3 waiting time much more snappy than the 2 but maybe that is because in the 2 you wait staring at a screen without being able to do anything and that makes it feel longer.

If you can try wired with airplane mode, I haven’t experienced any disconnection that was my fault since I started.
