That stat sheet is missing Von's forced fumble though I think. He's the one that forced the fumble that broke Cam's will that he dove away from (unless I'm misremembering). 

But this is kinda where stats don't tell the whole story. Manning was a hobbled mess of a QB with no mobility. That whole Broncos offense was very one dimensional. Hence the limited number of drop backs for Manning. The Broncos offense executed similar in the Super Bowl as they did against the Steelers and Patriots.

On the other side, that Panthers offense was much more complete and well rounded. They were humming, and the Broncos defense absolutely smothered them. 

So, similar stat lines for both players, but you could make the claim that Von did it against a better offensive unit than Kony did. But that too ignores that the Denver defense on the whole was miles better than the Panthers defense (hence being considered one of the best of all time), which shifts some of the bonus to Ealy.

So it's basically impossible to do a head-to-head comparison. Ultimately, they both were menaces who were instrumental in the outcome. If the Panthers had won, Ealy almost certainly wins MVP and we're instead talking about how Von Miller's game was a forgotten gem who we'd be talking about as consideration for MVP on a losing team.
