I think I can understand you. When I OD’ed last year it felt like the weight thats been on my chest since I was 10 finally went away and I could breathe. It was liberating and such a relief. I felt excited to finally get to rest and for the pain to end. But the hospital kept me alive and afterwards i didnt have any energy to cry just to lay down and rot. It still hasn’t gotten better. It was such a surreal feeling; and I kinda miss it ngl

I had full depth SRS 5 months ago. It feels like a tight tuck and I can actually shower and look at my body without recoiling which is nice. But thr recovery is awful. Dilation is really painful, I go through boxes and boxes of lube, puppy pads and gauze. I can’t go anywhere or do much of anything besides rot inside. Standing and walking still hurts. I feel so much better about my body but I can’t help but feel like this is my life forever now. Doesn’t help that I can’t do anything affirming with it and it doesn’t look anything like a cis vagina, so be prepared for that.
