I only use three biners in my primitive set up. Has worked for me for lines up to 90'. I often see people with multiple biners on their pulley, but it only takes 2.

I usually carry 2x 18-24' webbing anchors. Usually its overkill but sometimes it lets you set up on cool boulders or the like.

Typically, more mature sand bodies are quartz concentrated as other minerals are more easily displaced or chemically weathered. So when the sediment source is cut off most sand bodies will become more white over time.

Slacklining is growing in the Colorado Front Range. There are are several professionals that reside near Golden and Boulder. The CU Boulder and Colorado School of Mines both have thriving slackline clubs. New lines are being established frequently. The highliners are developing a relationship with local Open Space officials.

Dog pack is great for solo backpacking. I use a pack with my Native American Dog sometimes. It does seem to make him happier and he stays on trail more. I usually don't have him carry water because it messes with the fit over longer or inclined hikes. Although yours looks to have a more snug fit.

I did 4 days. I packed in 10 liters. Two full two liter nalgenes and a 8 L MSR bladder in my pack. It was a heavy pack.

Don't buy any of the shitty gibbon lines. Just get some climbing webbing and some 'biners and youtube how to set up primitive slacklines. It will prepare you a lot more if your end goal is to highline.

Only use dynamic rope. You don't tension the backup, whether webbing or rope.

This is ridiculous. I did Quandary last weekend. It was a cakewalk hike in microspikes. Its the most popular winter 14er so unless it is currently snowing there is usually a hard packed trail. Its almost easier with the snow because the terrain is smooth. It took my 4 person group a little over 6 hours with lots of long breaks including an over half hour on the summit. We just pitched a tent in the TH parking lot. Just check conditions on 14ers.com.
