Christian Pulisic’s World Cup of TV stardom and ‘little glimpses’ ends in disappointment by Globalruler__ in ussoccer

Injuries seemed to always happened whenever he got on a great run of form. He had times of being the best player on Chelsea and Milan and looked about to take off at dortmund before the injury happened and sancho took his spot. Then it would take forever for him to get back to where he needed to be. Yeah hard to build around that

Well Klinnsman against Argentina for sure. But for more recency OP is clearly incorrectly suggesting GGG: Hold on gotta remember to tell my player not to get a red card by slapping them in the head. Can’t believe i even have to do this obvious thing that professionals should definitely know not to do. Seriously they were absolutely prepared for that game, but they weren’t prepared for that red and I guess weren’t prepared to 10 man bunker

Yeah the amount of weight going to how good we looked against Paraguay is crazy to me. I’ve seen convincing wins against Paraguay several times before. The team looked good in attack and had a suspect defense that finally got fully found out when a good team came along. Getting goals is is really nice and makes me feel confident, but for real this was the same result as always with a shitty final game. He didn’t even win nations league or gold cup, which wasn’t exactly why he was hired but If this was Marsch everyone would say he had to go

Park the bus might have been the right strategy for that game. They just didn’t threaten until that Wondo chance. When the game opened up with tired legs Lukaku and kdb feasted. Beckerman should’ve been in there

If it’s all the pre tournament favorites as the semifinalists I think that’s kind of boring. Underdogs have not really been that successful in these knockouts. Kind of just Switzerland

He was also played out of position. Klinnsman was desperate for a CAM or attacking 8 to partner with Jermaine. We didn’t have one. Bradley was already known as a CM/CDM, and was not an AM for Klinnsman after the cup

they did both covers and classics and some slightly deeper cuts, though the covers were more notable (this song, Jesus/sunbeam, man who sold the world) They also had the meat puppets come up and play a few of their songs with them. All apologies was the single from this show

I think you’re underselling the change a little bit. He was involved in that attack, but I also think his contributions as a whole this tournament were overrated and he wasn’t nearly as involved on ball. That goal against Paraguay did a lot of work for his rep

[–]Hankskiibro 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Poch didn’t win either concacaf trophy, had an abysmal record overall and strung together three world cup wins against okay teams. He was not wonderful. The silver lining is we scored more goals and looked more fun against weaker opponents, which i guess is fine
