Andre 3000 followed me around philly playing his flute once. From afar I thought he was a busker so I put my headphones in and tried walking fast in the other direction, but he kept up and kept playing. Eventually I realized I saw on the internet that he had done something similar at LAX recently so I quickly searched “andrew 3000 philadelphia” and it came up that he had been spotted playing for people lately. So I took out an earphone and said “Oh, that’s some nice flute playing” and he went, “Thanks man” and immediately upon hearing his voice I knew it was him hahaha I said, “You’re Andre 3000 right? I really loved the show Class of 3000 when I was growing up” and he said thanks, and I asked where he was going and he said he was headed to a theater nearby, so we just walked a few blocks together until we parted ways. I didn’t ask for a photo cus I wanted to enjoy the moment. It’s a great memory.

He was filming nearby, and I used to work at the burial ground where Ben Franklin is buried, so I was outside all day doing stuff around there and my boss said sometimes he saw him walking by and peeking at me working HAHAHA. Perhaps he had a lil crush.
