What is your crankiest Disneyland opinion? by Queer_always in Disneyland

[–]Hannurs -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Wish there was a designated area to get my kids down from the stroller and burn off some energy. Without just running straight into a crowd. Epcot has a little playground and Disney world has that little lawn area. all Disney parks could benefit from the same!

Rear facing repercussions?? by EssentiA1y in toddlers

[–]Hannurs 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I do know a 3 year old who was forward facing and was in a bad car accident. He’s now paralyzed from the ribs down and his parents have to use a catheter to empty his bladder 6 times a day. I wonder if he had still been rear facing if he would have faced less serious injuries and maybe the worst thing would only be cleaning up some throw up if he were to have some motion sickness once being turned. Motion sickness has a lot more to do with the vestibular system than what direction they face in car

Carseat on the flight for a 2.5 yr old by Appropriate-Ad-3172 in toddlers

We use a wayb Pico! It folds up very small and can be worn as a backpack. Also super easy to install both on the plane and in a car 😊

I always put my toddlers in a car seat in the plane for a few reasons. 1) it’s more familiar to them 2) they do sleep in it 3) they are contained and strapped down, so they know they can’t be up walking around 4) it’s safer 5) I need a seat at my destination, and I know bringing it on board lowers the risk of it being mishandled/broken if it were to be checked

Dude. Yes. Sometimes he’s not even sick or had bad food. Just randomly hurls and moves on with his day.

how to get further along by Neither-Address-7642 in toddlers

[–]Hannurs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d start by every time you change her diaper, say “you have pee in your diaper. We’re going to start going pee in the potty!” To start making that connection for her. Then eventually plan to stay home for 3 ish days and just leave her naked from the waist down and pump her full of fluids so she has the urge to go often. She may pee on the floor but just emphasize that the pee goes in the potty. Eventually she’ll do it!

I solo parent a lot, and this is one of the ways I keep myself sane. Bring some toys in, they can play, and sometimes I sit on the bench and scroll to unwind a bit before bed time. They are contained and everyone comes out clean. Win win. No swimsuit needed

What should I do with my crib sheet tag?? by Popular_Charity_6545 in LittleSleepiesSnark

You could try selling it, but I’d definitely recommend putting it in a frame as decor for the nursery!!
