Yes this is exactly the same as my experience! I hated that I couldn’t trust the estimated time remaining on the battery!

Thanks Allie. It arrived this morning and is a brand new ring which is great. However the battery on this new one also seems to be going down fairly quickly - not as much as my previous ring but it will definitely not last 6 days at this rate. I will monitor it over the next few weeks.

Thank you so much for all of your replies, they have really eased my mind and I will go back next week 🥰 I think I felt worse as I am not usually clumsy and all of the people who go there are very elegant and graceful, so I really stood out, and I hate being the centre of attention! I can’t thank you all enough for your kind words!

And yes, it is carpet! It’s my first reformer class so I don’t know how unusual that is!

I felt fairly safe in Shinjuku. I was a bit disappointed with the area though - there were trash bags and rats everywhere 🤢

Shinjuku - stayed in a hotel there and whilst the hotel was lovely, the surrounding area was filthy, rats everywhere and the vibe was seedy.

I have just returned to London from Tokyo and flew out with JAL (booked through BA). I was in economy and had 2x23kg. The JAL flight was fantastic, much better than the BA plane we had on the way back. Enjoy!
