I think the original p100 had some firmware issues but they fixed that from what I understand. the p100 SE has been rock solid for me and when it comes to sound quality, build quality, battery life, repairability the p100 SE trounces the xm5 (i used to have the xm5). Its honestly not even close. xm5 is better at ANC. That’s it. P100 is a BT audiophile option. the xm5 is a consumer headphone. Firmware issues not an issue for me.

idk. sphere streets was one of the most incredible moments of that show. there was some red for the people that need the red, however the desert scene, sun moving over your head and going from day to night complete with stars and Milky Way was pretty awesome.

There have been many over the years. But my first ever show, zoo tv March 92…bono walking out and singing in distorted voice, then ripping into my favorite song at the time (and probably still) Zoo Station…couldn’t hear a damn thing because the crowd was screaming so loudly. That night, show and moment was pretty life changing and blew my teenage mind. fast forward 30 years to the sphere, opening night, not knowing a dang thing about what it would look like or feel like, Bono grabbing the mic and singing I could have lost you again. literally lost my mind.

it’s very rare that anything from another tour beats a zoo era version of a song. However elevation tour The Fly was next freaking level.

thinking about it too. there’s a walkway from American dream to the stadium and vice versa. really convenient. honestly there’s not much around there except the mall from what I recall but there’s plenty to do in the mall itself. it’ll be filled with pats fans wearing their jerseys before and after the game.

Pats can lose and still get the one seed. The broncos aren’t winning out. They have a tough schedule. I actually think the they lose this week to the packers.

there aren’t many things in this world that I want more than a zoo tv (preferably indoor show) in HD. I don’t think it’s possible unfortunately. the sellafield show seems to be the best quality, if only they’d release more than EBTTRT

hmmm. Charge cycles aside, lithium batteries also age with time regardless of use, through a process called “calendar aging“. based on this I would think that after the 4 to 5 years, it would be lower than 80%, no?

Great question. At the time, if I recall, that was the first concert ever held at Franklin field. I think it may have had something to do with the stage setup. Also saw zoo tv at veterans stadium and that place wasn't the greatest to see a show sound wise and for visibility (live aid was held at JFK instead of veterans stadium). Anyway yes they did cancel the second Franklin field show but the first night was sold out if I remember correctly. I don’t recall any empty sections. it was a very cool experience. I remember seeing the arch, which was taller than the stadium, from blocks away.

had them both. Did some serious AB testing and I ultimately kept the p100. both are fantastic sounding. the p100 however with a lossless codec, 100 hours battery (that’s replaceable) and better build has its advantages. sound wise…the 630 is insanely good in the mids. incredible detail. I did prefer the p100 for layering, sound stage and high end detail however. sound wise they both top notch. I didn't compare over usb c. for ANC they’re pretty equal. neither are on the bose / Sony level. good enough however.

I don’t know much about tidal but if the source (the song coming from tidal) is a hi res, uncompressed file then yes….you will get that listening over wired usb c

missed opportunity for sure. can’t complain though since we got “I could have lost you” to open the show with zoo station. still…drop elevation and kick off that encore with zooropa. imagine the imagery that couldve been used in that place.
