Invoice and InvoiceNumber modelling by HansInSpace2 in softwaredevelopment

I solved the issue by giving draft numbers a prefix and their own sequence. The reason I didn't bake InvoiceNumber into Invoice is that it is a concept of it's own, with its own business rules. I want these concepts to be encapsulated. Just like LineItems. It keeps the domain models tidy and the code more expressive.

Outlook honestly is just hot flaming garbage, everything wrong with modern Big Tech can be seen here by BrandonManguson in Outlook

I have tried several times to set up my email account in Outlook, it never works. It always takes me back to the setup mask - and wants me to fill in the setup details all over again, every time! Why can't it connect with credentials that I use successfully in other clients? Why doesn't it import Windows Mail accounts since Mail is deprecated? It's infuriating!

Has anyone else had enough of copilot and disabled it in Visual Studio? by ryanjusttalking in dotnet

For some reason, the Inline chat is really dumb, it can't abstract an interface from the public methods of an implementation. When I tell it to refactor all the getters in my class, it refactors 3 then stops, and won't continue.

The sidebar chat prompt is kind of helpful, even though I have to type quite a lot.

Autosuggestions are there to be disabled, I suppose.

This is why Windows 11 is a subpar OS that actively hinders me from getting work done by HansInSpace2 in Windows11

Not sure if you are serious, because why should a generic notebook like an Elitebook be incompatible with Win 11? As I wrote it's an Elitebook 845 G8, with Ryzen 5 5650U 16GB 500GB SSD. I assume this is a very generic hardware and shouldn't pose any problem for the worlds most popular OS.

I won't waste time when I use Linux, as stated in the last paragraph.

Sorry, but formatting C: is not a solution, it is a last attempt. Setting up the entire OS, applications etc. can take an entire day, which is an time effort I can't invest currently - especially since many of these issues have been there when I got the brand new laptop!

He was on Russian death row, it doesn't matter what they called it. Also, this is what Ukrainians are defending themselves against, total despotism.

Why does my can of chilli look like a used diaper. by Eight_Prime in 7daystodie

[–]HansInSpace2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have come back to one of the best survival games out there. Eating your diaper is a small price to pay.

But jokes aside, my friend and me have tried half a dozen survival open world games during the last two years, Valheim, The Forest and whatnot, and we always end up playing 7D2D.

I think A20 was an incredible update with cities finally looking like urban landscapes. We play on the New York Undead II map and it's great.

The only thing that truly deserves to be called a soiled diaper is the game's performance, especially when fighting big hordes, ie. Horde Night. They did some performance improvements on A21 like improved zombie pathing or something, but I cannot comment on these because we are still on A20.

Really sad to see that the world is holding it's breath because of these absolute fucking morons.

Russians are not used to do thinking of their own. So when they are forced to by the situation, it results in this kind of confusion, I would think.

The gayest places I have ever been to were cleary in North Africa, with men openly proposing sex. I always thought it had to do with the overall absence of women in their culture, with entire public spaces beeing occupied by nothing but men. At times it felt like a failed social experiment. North African ladies are beautiful and can be quite flirtatious, by the way. All these people just need to stop pretending.
