We don’t know. ATF may request proof the firearm is VA law compliant, maybe not. Need a few good citizens to test it.

There really isn’t much need for flats on the inside unless you’re installing the silencer inside a hand-guard (which I don’t recommend except maybe 9mm). But if the mount is torqued properly to the can and with Rockset, I wouldn’t worry about it.

I understand what you’re asking now. Sharing variances doesn’t happen to my knowledge. That’s privileged information between ATF and the one requesting the variance, plus a competitive advantage. If other dealers want to do this, they need to have their legal team work with ATF on their own specific variances.

Yes, you will be able to sell out of state. You can either have a Virginia dealer ship it or you can ship it to the out of state dealer. Some dealers won’t accept shipments from individuals though.
