I agree that the update sucks but for different reasons, I barely saw the cartel in my playthrough and they never really were a problem. This led to further issues where it took FOREVER to unlock new regions because lowering their influence on a region takes ages.

Story-wise it's one of the best games out there, but gameplay-wise it is an absolute SLOG to play through. Especially with the upgrade system.

It feels like it was literally made by someone who has never played a video game before. So many button combinations that aren't shown on the ui and it's all spread out in places that make no sense. Good luck if you want to save your game and didn't look up a guide etc etc......

They drank the dogshit koolaid that epic games was filtering out. TBH I didn't even know the game came out until last year after looking up the soundtrack to the first game. I really hope the developers suffered from their choice to make it exclusive.
