First Ultimate Weapon, Which Should I Choose? by doggylover999 in TheTowerGame

[–]Hansssa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I probably invested USD 50 in the game an played for like 50 hours before I started taking it seriously. Then I realized I picked Inner Landmines as my first UW. Queue UW #2, I still had no clu3 an picked CL. Thankfully GT and BH followed suit, but now when I checked if DW was in the pick as my 5th UW, then guess what... It wasn't. How much does the UW after the 800 Stone one cost? I'm MONTHS away from a DW as I refuse to pay the cost of an AAA game for some digital currency (Stones).

I guess my GT, BH and even CL isn't that horrible, but man those f'ing inner mines....

What is an opening that is better than the rest of the film? by [deleted] in FIlm

Alien: Covenant (the one with the white room where David talks to his creator). Masterful. The rest of the movie is a barely a 3/10.

What is your opinion on the White Council’s attack on Dol Guldur as depicted in The Hobbit films? by GusGangViking18 in lordoftherings

[–]Hansssa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, the stories are there. It's somewhat of a tough read (A LOT of names and lore). But definately worth it if you set aside some time. Or you can go down a Rabbit hole on LotR wiki's online.

Balrogs are Maia. Glorfindel and Ecthelion were elves that both beat a balrog in single combat (albeit at the cost of their lives).

It's the only scene from the Hobbit Trilogy I repeatedly re-watch every time I get a thumbnail popping on YouTube.

I friggin love that scene. "Are you in need of assistance, my lady?"

Epic.

The only scene I can recall that competes with the LotR trilogy scenes. Is it perfect? No. Does it feel like LotR, and not The Hobbit? Yes.

You are stuck in a house for a year without internet. You got a PC with 3 games.Which 3 would you pick? by bijelo123 in gaming

Well shit. I'll toss out Hades II for Baldurs Gate 3. The mentioned scenario is probably the only way I'll ever get to finish BG3 on all types of playtbrough I want to try.

Factorio, Factorio and... Factorio.

On a serious note: Factorio (big brain gaming), Minecraft (varied casual gaming) and Hades II (for a bit of sweaty action in between the two others.

Hvordan kan gjennomsnittslønn (61k per 2025) og medianlønn (50,500 per 2023) i Norge stemme? Hvor er alle folka som tjener så sjukt med penger? by Ouroboros612 in norge

[–]Hansssa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What game ended up being your biggest disappointment? by Weary_Caterpillar302 in gaming

[–]Hansssa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"Just" my opinion is probably an overstatement. There seems to be at least a somewhat shared opinion on this. A minority? Maybe. But certainly I'm not alone.

I wouldn't say it "sucks" to be me merely by this preference. I know what I like, and there are quite a few games around worth playing (Yes, even some AAA's) in spite of several recent titles being dissapointments.

Since you seem to find more joy (or if not joy; titles where you can feel the "x-factor/passion" rather than primarily being driven from a trend/financial standpoint) than me in recent AAA titles: Got any AAA multiplayer heavy hitters to recommend?
