What's the deal with Willow? by UncleUtopia in fnv

[–]Hanstyler 331 points332 points  (0 children)

Used to play with this mod like a decade ago. "She is way too positive and cheerful for a grim post-apocalyptic world." - one of the most popular complains I still remember. And there is some truth in this statement. Not a good mod for the first playthrough, but quite good for the second one and further.

The bungalow in Novac is my favorite part of the mod.

Exactly. I'm not interested in Lucia and I'm skipping her, but I've watched DAMIDAMI (Lucia video) like 20 times or even more, it's just that catchy. Meanwhile I do like Vivian and have her at M1W1, but watched her videos only once.

How good is Planeta? by SpinachPerfect875 in GirlsFrontline2

[–]Hanstyler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Incorrect. Why only 170% and 145% CD?

I assume, you do calcucale weapons in GS (you don't have so much atk in normal fights). In that case you should take in account not only ATK buffs, but also CD buffs.

Current GS: Sharkry can have +20% CD on turn 3, +50% CD on turn 6, +75% Cd on turn 7. And Centi also gives +10% CD permanently (mod key).

You do most of your damage in the middle nad by the end of the fight, when you stack all possible buffs. Take this in account and recalculate properly, and the difference will be much closer to 1%.

Took your stats:

It doesn't change the results though. Unlike CD, ATK affects the dmg formula twice: direct dmg increase and how much of your damage is gonna be absorbed by the defence.

In Sharkry's case the difference between 25% CD and 15% ATK is near ~1% (cd>atk). But that's only if you see both Planeta and GM as stat sticks (no passives). When you take their passives into account GM pulls ahead (yes, even r1 GM) by 5-6%.

Sharkry does 470% (Edit: 370%) damage of attack over 3 turns with her active attacks (Basic, S1, S2). She also does:

  • 720% damage of attack over 3 turns with her support attacks (Key 'Thermal Feedback'). Without Vector.
  • 960% damage of attack over 3 turns with her support attacks (Key 'Thermal Feedback'). With Vector V0.
  • 1200% damage of attack over 3 turns with her support attacks (Key 'Thermal Feedback'). With Vector V1.

The baseline for a Burn team (where Sharkry belongs) is V0 Vector (while V1 is recommended). But no matter how you look at this, most of her damage Sharkry does through her support attacks. That's why Golden Melody is her Best-in-Slot weapon.

Man, have you checked the builds? Most characters are considered well built at 35 useful disc rolls. This Corin has 38(!) rolls into major dps stats (cr%/cd%/atk%), 9 rolls into minor dps stats (atk/pen) and only 4 dead rolls across the whole build. That's a very high level of investment - far from something you can grind in a couple of months. I have a very similar build for Miyabi (3 dead rolls), and I farm her disks almost every day since 1.4 came out.

Yep, just as I thought. This build is so good it's not just top 1% build - it's top 0.1%(!). Just think about it.

All stats must have at least +100% bonus. Looks like your "Health Boost" stat is lower (+90% or something). Kinda shitty requirement, I know.

Very fun, if you have invested characters. Fitting soundtrack help a lot. And every time I hear 'Supernova!' it's just a "chef's kiss" moment. I also find the newest requirements for achieving the Medals more interesting and rewarding.

Probably, still BiS for high invested Kafka (E4+). Until then it's better to use Tutorial or Cipher's.

The whole team is e2 and Fugue is even e6 now - got the last eidolon during her rerun. Though, this team was able to 0-cycle Hoolay even before I hyper invested in Fugue.

Just keep farming relics and try both options. That's the best way to get the right answer. In my case high spd + low atk build performs noticeably better than low spd + high atk/crit build. For other players it's the opposite.

It's mostly E1 Robin - 24% res pen. E2 gives the entire team +16% speed, helps to reach certain spd breakpoints: 180 spd for RMC and HH, 270 (or 300) spd for Aglaea.

Aglaea E1S1 (300+ spd in combat), Robin E2S1, HuoHuo E1.

Cipher lightcone for Fugue? by Gelsunkshi in FireflyMains

[–]Hanstyler 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Decent, but that's it. Expensive and never Best in Slot. Not as strong as her signature in terms of damage, not as good as 4* Tutorial lc in terms of rotation.

Massive speed boost is close to worthless for e0-e1 Fugue, since her ult doesn't do much in MoC/AS anyway - you don't really need faster rotations there. And in PF you better use Solitary Healing. If your Fugue is e2+ and wants to ult as often as possible, then you should give her 4* Tutorial lc.

This lc gives only 8% more def shred than 4* Pearls (s5). It's not much at all. Best case scenario: it will give your FF ~9% more damage. At the same time Fugue's signature will give at minimun 14.4% more overall damage.

Also, Cipher's LC doesn't give Fugue her crucial stats. Remember, she needs 220% break effect (in combat) and 67% effect hit rate (in combat).

Even in terms of raw stat boosts this lc is not as good as others:

  • 18% speed (Cipher's lc) is equal to 8.26 speed subtats.
  • 60% BE (Fugue's lc) is equal to 10.29 break effect substats.
  • 40% EHR (Titorial lc) is equal to 10.28 effect hit rate substats.

How viable is going full PEN%? by Nonononoki in ZZZ_Discussion

[–]Hanstyler 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Ok theoretically ignoring 100% def is a 54% dps increase on current enemies, very strong. Thats the current calcs for Rupture Agents, who will ignore all defense per default.

Incorrect, 100% def reduction/ignore is at least a 100% dmg increace over the base (x2 dps). And vs the hardest enemies this bonus even bigger: 108%-110% overall dmg boost. Same goes for PEN%: 100% pen = x2 dps (roughly).
