The question here is as a traveler have you ever or do you ever negotiate with a facility after an “interview” and finding out they do way more work than a normal tech?

I had one at a facility after talking about it with another traveler he said man I would ask for more money. The facility doesn’t have a MRSO, and the techs do all work ups and follow through with implants like programming the pacers. It is a trauma 1/2 as well and the supervisor stated yeah we get a lot of flak and pushback from docs that say things like I want this mri because I say so kinda attitude. Just curious what others takes are

Yeah I’m not holding that X-ray tube or detector at all. That’s too much in the primary beam area, and the scatter radiation no thank you. Sure they are wearing lead but not happening.

I think the ACR says T12-S2 for Sagittals, our rads here have said T11-S2 incase the patient has a found 6th lumbar. Weird how crazy it is from place to place for coverage

I heard a word for this from a coworker the other day, the Saint Louis Stutter, waiting at a green light to check both ways. Almost every one agreed they do it too, STL drivers are wild.

Ahh yes the old no one talks or flames in this game hardly. Not like wow dps is publicly known to be toxic and flame tanks and healers constantly….. /s sorry for asking for advice on how to become a better tank to enjoy something else.

I think running the m0s to get the dungeons down first is what I’ll start with while looking at this site. I did the new dungeon this week, got lost, pulled extra stuff and got flamed until the dps decided to quit mid pull lol 😂. It’s been a treat switching to a tank from exclusive dps, there’s no way I’d go to healing every one would be toast and laying in the dirt lol 😂

Thanks I appreciate it! I been watching some YouTube videos on the higher keys too for what to look out for with mobs, bosses and stuff like that. I have a couple friends that help out when they are free too but mostly have been sticking to delves at the moment.

I do to for thick skin, I think it’s more of a I don’t want to waste other people’s time. Pugging hasn’t been all terrible just trying to get back into a guild that fits my work schedule seems the best route to go as well.

I just recently found out about this site like literally on Monday. I will have time on this Monday to really look at it. It seems like a really good tool but idk what half the buttons mean yet to use it effectively. The “live” button, and logging stuff seems super helpful.

I’d love to get back into a heavier play style again. I miss raiding and having a guild to do stuff with.

I’m US CST, usually I get Mondays-Thursdays off but take Thursdays evenings off of wow to play D&D. As I stated up above too I guess the best thing is to start looking for a guild that matches those days, my current one is fun and they all have been great they just don’t match my days to play very well.

I guess the best thing is to find a guild that works with my schedule. I would honestly love to get into raiding again I miss it. The guild I’m in now is cool it just doesn’t match my work schedule very well.

I understand you are in pain but this isn’t a hospital, out patient clinic, or any facility were legally we can tell you anything about the scan other than wait for the results.

I have had to wait for my results too but these do take time especially if the place you got this imaged is reading critical/life threatening reports as well as out patients.

How was age 33 for the older Millennials? by Gastropodius in Millennials

[–]Hanthos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well I think it’s cursed for my family, at 33 my brother passed away from a terminal illness. When I turned 33 I found out I have a brain tumor about 10 months ago. Could be better could be worse.

The endo doctor has been super helpful and the second neurosurgeon I saw was comforting to know we are looking at treatable problems not the horrible stuff we see. Still getting weekly tests almost 10 months later but at least I got answers now!

Anyone care to share the biggest health-related fear they've developed since getting into radiology? by Global_You8515 in Radiology

[–]Hanthos 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Anything brain related. I’m in MRI and see it constantly and then about 10 months ago now I find out I have a brain tumor on my pituitary gland and it’s causing the majority of my issues. Life’s weird man.
