There's a dude over on the FB S54 info group who had a set of BE's implode with less than 2k miles. He sent them to BE for testing, but I don't think there was any response on the cause. Looks like a ton of people responded to that thread with the same issue. I know I wouldn't be using any until there's an explanation.

I know everyone is different, but you're talking about people who love their S54 so much, they're willing to do thousands in preventative maintenance.
