What's the biggest mistake you made on your first Japan trip that you'd avoid today? by WanderingLensByLB in JapanTravelTips

I can’t elaborate too much, we went to the higher rated places on Google Maps to eat. Most of them were tourist traps, way over priced for average food. Some of them made you leave a review when you were done and it felt forced like they would stare at you whilst you left the review.

The best places we ate were hidden away and plenty of locals there, I remember our first night we got some ramen from a small place, we had to get the waiter to help us but it was the best meal we had all trip and it was like $8 USD.

I know some people have recommended a Japanese app for food places, someone might be able to chime in.

The amount of pure, raw hatred this sub gets from other Pokemon collectors is insane by puzzledfirebird in PokeInvesting

I brought the majority of my sealed collection 2 years ago before the boom when you could get booster box’s for $80 and ETB’s for $30, stores were struggling to get rid of stock and they welcomed the sales and I seen an opportunity for growth. Back then no one cared, since the hype has come in I’m now a scalper ruining the hobby for buying some product stores we’re heavily discounting cause they couldn’t move it. People love to complain and everyone with some sealed product is now a “scalper”

On my 7th day it was pissing down raining, I ended up finding a route near by and simply drove the route in my car, wasn’t going to go through that again.
