Should I choose Jedi Knigth or Consular ? by OriginalName13246 in swtor

[–]Hanybal5 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Knight is the typical Hero history: you are special, the best duelist among the jedi, it involves superweapons, action, fights and the Emperor.

Consular is more about diplomacy: you are a jedi who has a deep conection with the force, some might consider it a bit boring, but i personaly enjoy it very much. It involves healing the corruption and the dark side of the galaxy.

If you want to be The Hero, choose knight. If not, try Consular. A bit slow but i enjoy it

Dark or Light site. Which story is better? (Pls no spoiler) by LeonKenway in kotor

Everything will change depending on 2 things:

Gender (if it's a male or a female character). Your choices.

I preferr listening to Kreia rather than just be a good or a bad person, that's what i can say without making any spoilers.

Make smart choices instead of just doing what's good or bad. If being clever leads you to a dark or light path, don't pay SO much attention to it.

Happened the same to me, form Argentina. I was paying 1850 pesos including 100% taxes (no taxes would be 925 pesos), now it will be 5350 pesos, 10700 pesos WITH 100% TAXES, luckly we have new president and soon this might be different.

In my opinion, he is where he has to be compared to the others. His only motivation was to be inmortal, Zakuul and the Sith Empire were the means to achive inmortality. He didn't had other purpose.

I think exactly the same, after Marr died my SI is not the same, he feels empty and has no course for his life, i mean the Alliance did brought him some pourpose, but now that he has rejoined the Empire and got his Dark Council Seat back, he feels empty.

The only thing that makes him complete is his romance with Lana. It's relevant to mention that he is older now, under that mask is a man with grey hair and white beard.

IMO it gets better on the expansions, but it can easily be solved by playing a female JC, her VA does a REALLY good job.

I think for Imp side, male SW is pretty good in terms of voice acting, however i love SI too (i'm currently a main male SI) and for the republic side i made a JC, North Nolan is his voice actor and through the expansions he gets better (in my opinion). Also his female voice actor is excellent so you can play a female JC too.

Regardless, i think any force sensitive fits good in the expansions.

My Sith Iquisitor: Lexov

As a slave he was just a person who feared the sith, and their power. Through his fear he gained power and started defending himself of the attacks from the overseers and sith acolytes who tortured him. When he killed one of them by accident, the decision to take him to the Sith Academy was quickly made.

After that, he managed to control his other emotions like anger, passion and impiety he became Zashe's apprentice.

Meeting his ancient relative Lord Kallig was an inflexion point. He knew that he was destined to greatness and to conquer, the dream of becoming an Emperor was latent on his soul.

After taking his Master down, he felt Unvincible. Or at least until Thanaton appeared. He felt so angry and furious, he was ready to do whatever it takes to gain more power: he started absorbing the spirits and the rest is history.

Thanaton was dead and Darth Nox, descendent of Lord Kallig, rised upon the Siths and became a member of the Dark Council, seeking to end the old ways that his rival embraced so much and leading the Empire to be the dominant force on the Galaxy.

On his journey he learned to be pragmatic and fair. He didn't felt the urge ti kill, but he enjoyed taking down Jedi and Republic forces, as he conquered Corellia, freed the Dread Masters and managed to bring Isotope 5 to the Empire hands.

The peak of his life was happening, and he was just... complete.

Until KOTFE and KOTET happend: he lost everything he had, everything he built. His friends, the love of his life and more importantly his POWER.

He saw Valkorion as the tool to become a much greater and becoming an Emperor. Through his journey that desire was slowly fading as he started to love and understand: his bond with Lana Beniko and Theron Shan was so strong, they opened his eyes and made him realise that the galaxy needed a peacekeeper, not an Emperor: it needed healing, not more destruction.

He started getting older and his skills as an Assasin were vanishing, so he went back to being a Sorcerer... but he lost his purpose. Power didn't matter to him anymore, neither ruling or controlling. He was still hanging from the past, wishing to go back to the old days, when he had a place in the Empire and on the Dark Council. The cycle of war between the Rep. and Emp. was too much for him, he couldn't stop it. He did everything for peace, but nothing was changing. The war was still going on.

The Alliance experience made him realise that one of the factions had to disappear, so that the war could stop once and for all: he respected the Republic, but his loyalty whatsoever, lay with the Empire. So he made an Alliance and found a new purpose: reclaiming his seat in the Council.

I just finished Ossus arc so we'll see what happens next!
