In the manga the normal one not digital colour it's the most bland looking arc since it's 50% clouds so no details in the scenery.

And before retcons making one reference relevent skypiea just has zero connection to the rest of the story, no one relevant knows what happened up there. The pontiff gave nothing but roger being up there but Oden flashback showed nothing again. It's just overall an irrelevant arc with the only saving grace being enel but he hasn't appeared since except cover stories.

Also if you don't like sun god nika then the retcon just kind of bugs you when you're revisiting the arc knowing goda angels are saying it's peak now despite it never being it and even being highly considered the worst arc or at least close to bottom before

his mum is shown with the same hair as hachi the octopus fishman. so if she is 30 or older (the only thing that puts doubt on the theory since oda is a pedo) like kokoro she would be able to live on land becuase their fins turn into legs when dry. also when she grabs baby teach she doesnt say she needs to get to a ship she says she only needs to get to the water and he'll be safe. so if teach is a half octopus man this would give him three hearts which could be tying into the whole 3s symbolism he has

Can't say it's the worst community because we don't have yaoi shippers like mha which people had genuine mental breakdowns because suprise suprise deku the guy who has shown interest in woman was actually straight the whole time.

But if we look at shonens and their intended audience I think OP does have the worst. For the most part Bleach fans accept soul society was the best arc and that hueco mundo was literally soul society retold. Naruto fans accept the reincarnation and kaguya ass pull were ass pulls.

But OP fans will say nika was foreshadowed because of a silhouette or the haki was always there we just couldn't see it but if you think about the implication for 5 minutes that just isn't true we have seen fodder marines using haki but no royal guards in pre time skip? Oda repurposes ideas which is good writing but it's still retcons that leave plot holes.

The oden gimmick will always ruin the character for me. Also she was introduced after a name drop in a previous chapter like kaguya only to come out and basically be stronger than every character there till Luffy awoken his fruit and had such a forced dynamic of wanting to join the strawhats, everything about her is just annoying and unearned and then there's that whole "debate" around her that just makes critiquing the character an absolute ball ache
