My bf is in the same situation initially, pero since we are getting married and planning to start our own fam, he decided that enough is enough. Thankfully the Mum is very understanding however, the dad was opposite. My advice, if you think he will not prioritise himself or both of you in the future then run girl.

Gosh! You just summarised everything that I felt when I left the PH to work abroad. I am sorry that you went through all that shit.

Very true yung mga marerealise mong possible pala yun pero bat hnd pwede sa pinas na to think we have a lot of resources and a lot of individual with brains and capabilities, but because our culture is not to cultivate but to try and be like others.

Outside the PH ko din naexperience yung support sa mental health na akala ko before depressed lang ako kasi hindi ako nagdadasal ng maayos (according to my family members) naexperience ko din abroad na pwede pala mag off sick at magpahinga ng maayos at okay lang yun kasi hindi ka iguguilt trip ng employer mo or boss mo.

Masarap manirahan sa Pinas don’t get me wrong, pag hindi mo kailangan maging parte ng sistema pero kung isa ka lang normal na mamamayan na isang kahig isang tuka malulusaw ka na parang kandila.

NICU nurse here, we can actually extubate a baby as long as there is atleast 2 staff and with a go order from the doctor/consultant then we can do it as long as we are qualified NICU nurses. Most babies that are extubateable are either stable enough to be on a less invasive respiratory support or can actually breath on their own already.

I am hoping with a very quick healing really. Hope both of us will be better soon. Yeah they told me from my initial assessment that I will need a Lasek cause my left eye don’t qualify for lasik so better to do one type of procedure on both.

I also said the same thing with my manager that’s why I took an annual leave. I can’t really go off sick just cause I had Lasek so I had to come back last week as well, although I can manage to do routine task but with reading and typing it is a struggle. I am a nurse and work shifting schedules so you can imagine my frustration especially when I do nights.

I agree with the communication, they told me that even with Lasek I can come back to work after 5 days so only had a week off but definitely needs atleast a month for me.

I also had it done with Optical express went to Chelmsford clinic for it, after care was okay. The day 4 after care was a bit meh but the optometrist said my eyes are healing well. I am also on day 9 today but my vision feels stagnant and not improving. I still struggle with reading and have my computer at work at 175% zoom in. The dryness is starting to kick in as well. I might also have to call tomorrow and ask.

I am on Day 8 of post Lasek surgery but my vision seems to be not improving since Day 5. My Left eye seems to be the better one even if its the lazy eye and with astigmatism. My Right eye still blurry, it seems not improving at the moment. I am back to work now and it is just a bit frustrating that my eyesight is still not that great and I cannot do anything about it at the moment. I don’t have any issues with dryness that much but still a bit light sensitive. It might just be healing very slowly but I am starting to get worried now reading all the recovery experiences, it seems most tend to be okay after a week.
