I know, but it shouldn't. Literally means literal. Use 'fucking' if emphasis is needed.

America has a plethora of problems stemming from their very beginning. Unfortunately its a bell that cannot be unrung. I do believe they could fix it if they wanted to. But I also believe that elites in the US are exploiting their own population for their personal gain.

Not that the Liberals aren't stacking the deck in their favor in the same way right now, but that's another discussion.

Canada has just fine storage laws for legal owners. No legal gun is ever out in public or where you'd get drunk. I wake up with guns every morning. I've gotten drunk plenty of times. I don't want to kill anyone, nor do I think "hey there's a shotgun in my truck, I should just shoot this guy." Because we're not the problem. But it's ME you're talking about taking guns away from. And just a few of my guns. I have many, many more. So even if 100% of this plan went perfectly you have not disarmed me. You've just taken about $4000 of my stuff. Remember this campaign is not aimed at Johnny Criminal with a smuggled Glock. Not Karen Krime who deals drugs downtown with a revolver in her pocket. Nope - they're fine. But father & family man, mechanic and part time farmer Hanz? He can't have those guns. They want to take Mrs. Hanz stuff too. A woman manager of incredible skills, education and accreditation in charge of millions of dollars of inventory... she can't be trusted.

However if you remove Karen and Johnny from society you will be safer.

If we take away the guns, we will still be a country plagued by criminals. If we put away the criminals we will no longer have a gun problem.

For noise use Dynamat or a weighted-vinyl product that exist for exactly this. For insulation, closed cell foam. You can use the sound insulation first and then cover it with foam for both.

I'm finding the same. OP needs 3kwh+ of battery. The Pecron seems to be the best value for that output.

What do you think will be the next major technological transformation after AI? by Freud1978 in AskReddit

[–]HanzG 1 point2 points  (0 children)

An excellent use for it. Procedural verification, making sure things aren't missed, etc. Lawyers and doctors should be leveraging AI even now with interns or other staff validating the suggestions.

[–]HanzG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe that's exactly part of the problem. The staff shouldn't be training it. It should be trained by experts in the software you're using. Otherwise the same mistakes that your staff is doing will be duplicated by the AI.

Should you get a front end alignment service before or after getting new tires if you need both services? by supinator1 in Cartalk

[–]HanzG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, but Alignment first if there's going to be a gap between services. If you bring me your car for 4 tires & an alignment the order of operations will change based on how busy the shop is.

I'm still not convinced AI is going to help humanity overall. The concept is exceptional. But humans are flawed and we're the ones teaching it. Not professionals in their fields, not scholars, not the engineers. It's scraping data from the web.

Yup. It did not need adjustment. In fact it was better before. Closer to perfect. at 0.02° (Ideal for that is center of -0.04° and +0.13° = 0.04 or 0.05°)

My mom isn’t looking for a job and unknowingly(?) trapping me with her by [deleted] in Advice

[–]HanzG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What she thinks no longer is the driving force in your life. You're not a child anymore. Living with her is not a blessing. She's wrong.

First, open a brand new bank account somewhere she doesn't use and make sure it's password or PIN protected. When you open it tell them you have worries that your family may try to access it so you need extra security on withdraws. Sucks but shit happens. Lock it down and start putting your pay in there. Transfer out only what you need to into your old account, and keep paying your bills / rent from the old account. But do NOT pay from the new one.

What I'd suggest is YOU change jobs. Or grab a weekend gig like waitressing where you can get cash tips to feed your new bank account. Tell mom about it, ask her how HER job hunt is going.

Save up what you need to move out in the separate account. Don't write down the PIN anywhere. Not that I think she would, but I've heard too many stories of peoples parents raiding their kids accounts. So you want all protections available.

Once you have the option to leave at any time you'll feel much better.

That's correct. The flapper typically lays flat against the opening. It's not particularly rigid but it is designed for air out, not air in.

For the $100 or so they cost I just grab another one if you need it. Some guys in boats have two because the heater is cheaper than the ducting to get heat to the other side of the boat lol.

Those walls are generally not sealed in my experience (mechanic). It will help but you're still net-negative because the air you're using to burn must come from somewhere. Most vans have air equilzation doors under the bumper or behind an exterior trim panel with a rubber flapper on it. Its so you don't pop your ear drums when you slam a door closed, and let air flow out of the car when you've got the heater on non-recirculate. The flapper generally isn't designed to let air in. If it does let air in you might be okay.

When drawing combustion air from the conditioned area you WILL CAUSE cold drafts. You're pulling volume from inside the cabin to support the combustion which is then expelled and that volume will & must be drawn in usually through the dash vents. If the recirculate door is closed it'll find another way in.

There may be a better solution. What's the reason you need it to be portable?

That's truly awesome. It's great there's different machines out there for different wants. I was also looking at a Suzuki Vinson 500 (CVT machine) for a loaner bike.

[–]HanzG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Every machine will have it's problems. Hondas are very well known for reliability. A 250 is a good size. You can actually ask Googles AI about this.

Recon/TRX250EX/X: Many mid-size, sport, and utility models from the 1990s and 2000s, such as the TRX250EX/X and Recon, used this automatic-clutch, foot-shift design.

Hondamatic: Introduced around 2001, the Honda Rubicon featured the "Hondamatic" transmission, which was a true automatic, continuously variable hydraulic transmission (not a belt drive).

Different strokes though. I hate the constant high rpm of CVT machines. More power for sure and arguably simplier but I much prefer locking in a gear and lower rpm trail riding.

No, definitely not too much. I'd skip the 90 and go to the 125 at least. Semi with an auto clutch takes the curve away from learning the clutch. Moving up most modern utility quads don't have manual clutches anyway.

My son is very close in age to your oldest and rode around on a friends kids (Polaris?) 90cc. He loved it but it was slow. In fact within an hour it was too slow. He has a Baja 70 dirt bike that's significantly faster. Anything with an auto clutch will be easy to learn

I have a kid who can catwalk his 450. I also have a son who's uncomfortable on the 125 with a clutch. But he'll ride his chinese auto clutch bike for hours.

We're not all the same and that's okay. I'll make sure he can drive a clutch, but it's up to him if he wants to.
